I have an itch and don't want to just write flash fiction. IDK if I'm going to use this prompt table for all the same people, but I'm going to start with some Teen Wolf and Leverage because that's where my brain is I lied, this is turning into a Teen Wolf/TVDverse Soulmate AU collection, I'm just indulging my bliss here.

Hayley announces Klaus is on his way with Aurora’s blood, and even though she’s going to meet him in town and he’s not coming anywhere near the house, Tyler decides he needs to be anywhere but here before that happens.
Elena, knowing him as well as she does, sees the tension forming in his shoulders and suggests: “Why don’t you and Matt take the artifacts that we have to the Armory?”
“Armory?” Stiles’ head picks up from the breakfast table as he glances between the three of them. “What’s the Armory?”
“Think of it as a supernatural research institute.” It’s the quick version, but it’s enough to get the point across. “I worked with them for a while after I left college.”
“So maybe there’s some information there about what we’re up against? Or at least tracing some bloodlines we’re looking for?” Before they’re given too long to consider that: “Can I come?”
Matt and Tyler look at each other with a shrug. “It’s gonna be a couple of days. You sure you’re okay with being gone that long?”
“The sooner we figure all this out, the better for the people upstairs. I’ll do whatever it takes.”
“Alright.” Tyler was looking forward to the one-on-one time with his best friend, but he can see how the mission takes priority. “We’ll head out after lunch.”
“Great. Thanks, man.” Stiles shoves the last few bites into his mouth before moving his dishes to the kitchen and heading upstairs to pack. Once Tyler’s sure the human’s out of view, he glances back at the rest of the group.
“How much of a hole did I just dig myself into?”
Matt laughs before shaking his head. “Don’t worry, man. He’s not that bad. For a fed.”
“Yeah—you didn’t hear how he talked about Caroline.”
Matt’s brow furrows, confused, and Tyler smiles. “C’mon. Help me pack the car. I’ll fill you in.”
A few hours down the road, and Matt’s right. Stiles isn’t that bad. He’s causally chatty, and he and Matt are bonding over supernatural cases that they’ve gotten in the line of duty (Matt’s count is much higher than Stiles’, but Stiles works federally and only really gets cases referred to him by friends). But eventually Matt can’t help but swing around to what Tyler told him earlier.
“So Stiles. Why were you accusing my friend of bloodsucking out souls?”
Stiles’ head ducks slightly, a blush coloring his cheeks. “I know this is going to sound bad, but I honestly don’t remember.”
Matt glances at Tyler, then shrugs. “Not sure, but I’m willing to bet it has something to do with Caroline’s werewolf soulmate.”
“Derek, right?” Matt smirks. “The one she had then forgotten because of a magical pit in true Caroline fashion.”
Stiles raises an eyebrow. “What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Caroline hasn’t exactly been lucky with love,” Matt sighs. “When we were together, she got turned into a vampire in the middle. When she was with Ty, an Original vampire was obsessed with her, and now with her actual soulmate he falls into a memory pit and makes her forget him.”
“That … wait, how many of you have dated Caroline?”
“Just me and Matt.” Tyler’s eyes meet Stiles’ in the back seat. “Why? Do you have a problem with that? It was high school.”
“Nope,” Stiles holds up his hands. “As someone whose soulmate was my best friend's girl and his soulmate was my girl in high school, I really cannot judge. Not that I remember much about their relationship at the moment.”
Right. Tyler forgot that Stiles’ soulmate also fell in the pit too. “That really sucks, man. I can’t imagine what I would do if it had been Elena.”
“Or Bonnie,” Matt chimed in. “Though given Bonnie’s luck, that’s exactly what would happen.”
“Yeah, well, we will not let that happen. Not you either.” Because Matt’s track record with supernatural shenanigans isn’t much better either. “We just gotta figure out how to destroy it.”
“Without turning a seven-year-old child into a vampire,” Stiles nods, because that part is important.
“Yeah. Definitely without doing that.” Tyler’s fingers grip around the steering wheel as they continue down the highway, getting closer and closer to the armor with each mile. The car falls into silence for a moment as the stakes of their mission sink in, when something appears in the distance on the highway. The two-lane road is fairly empty, which is fortunate as the tall pillar comes into view.
The creature—as that’s what it is, a creature—has a chest like a barrel. Furred, hoofed feet extend from the torso and the large bull’s head extends from above. Tyler can feel his mind making the connections, but despite that, he can’t bring himself to say it.
“Is that what I think it is?” Matt asks, and Tyler glances at his best friend, before tightening his grip on the steering wheel as the thing charges towards them.
“Hang on.”
He slams his foot on the gas, intending to shoot right past it but the thing is fast, faster than it seems like it should be, and he has to twist the wheel in order to avoid narrowly getting hit on the back end. He keeps his eyes on the road again, but Matt grips his shoulder as he looks out the back window.
“It’s coming back around.”
“Guess that answers whether it’s after us or we just were a convenient target.” Tyler keeps his foot on the gas and tries to keep gaining distance, but the minotaur is gaining. They don’t have a lot of time to come up with a plan.
“Do you think we can shoot it? I mean, they didn’t have guns back then right, so it’s not like there’s mythological precedent.”
“Some myths say that Theseus killed a minotaur with his bare hands,” Stiles replies, “but they’re myths. They might be bragging.”
Tyler grits his teeth before pulling over to the side of the road. “We need a distraction.”
“Dude, what are you doing?”
“Ty.” Matt’s voice is calm as he looks over at him. “Are you sure about this?”
“Nope. But we can’t just lead that thing right to the Armory, and getting the artifacts there is the priority.”
“Sorry, what are you doing exactly?”
“I’m going to distract it while you guys get the hell out of here.”
“And how are you doing it any better than a person with guns doing it?”
“Trust me. He can do it.” Matt climbs over into the driver’s seat and looks at his best friend. “If you die, Elena will kill me. Don’t die.”
“Don’t plan on it. Get out of here.” Tyler slams the car door and Matt hits the gas.
Taking a deep breath, Tyler makes his way back down the highway, playing with the moonlight ring on his finger. Elena had given it to him as an anniversary gift, so that he could control when he turned. Most of the time, he just used it to keep from turning on a full moon. But there are times—times like this—when he uses it for the other reason.
The minotaur meets him in the middle of the road, and a deep voice rumbles from his barrel chest. “Let me pass, and I will not rend you to pieces.”
“Walk away, and I’ll do the same.”
The monster tips his head to the side. “I cannot. I have bargained for my freedom and I must uphold my end.”
Tyler’s face falls, because he understands all too well what the minotaur is dealing with. He has four people in his house fighting the same compulsions. “Then I’m sorry.”
The thing about turning so many times that it stops to hurt is that overtime, you get faster. Bones still crack and break, but you fight it less when it doesn’t hurt. The only warning the creature gets is Tyler’s eyes flashing gold, and in the next blink, standing in his place in a pile of shredded clothes, is a wolf.
Tyler also knows that in order to win, Tyler Lockwood can’t be in the driver’s seat. So he lets the wolf surge forward and surrenders to the blackness that comes with it.
He just hopes he doesn’t hurt anyone else on the way.
