"Good," he said with a grin.

She grinned back at him before placing the menu down. "I think I'm gonna go with the shrimp."

"If I didn't want steak really bad I'd probably have that," he said.

"I don't blame you," she said with a grin. "The steak is pretty good here."

"How much shrimp are you getting?" he asked.

"If we're going to share, I'll get the full platter. That way there's plenty for both."

"I'll share my steak if you want some."

She shook her head. "I'll be good with the shrimp. I'll probably wind up taking some of it home anyway."

"Speaking of home, are we going to your place or mine tonight?"

"Whoever's closer works for me," she said with a shrug.

"I'm closer," he said with a nod.

"Your place it is," she said with a nod.

The waiter came by then and Adam placed his order before looking over at Resa.

She did the same, before handing back the menu.

"If they're as fast as they were the last time, I'll be really happy. I am hungrier than I thought I was."

"How much did you have to eat earlier?"

"I had a sandwich," he said. "Deli sandwich, so it had a lot of meat. But I probably should have had something else with it, too."

"Was it a decent sized sandwich?"

He nodded, grinning slightly. "Yeah, Resa, it was."

"Just asking," she said with a smirk.

"I promised I wasn't going to skimp on my lunches any more," he said. "And I meant it."

"Good," she said with a nod.

"It's nice that you still worry about my eating habits, though."

"It's what I'm here for," she said with a small shrug.

He grinned at her and leaned back in his chair a little more.
