Comment to this post with a pairing from one of the fandoms that we share. It can be a general pairing or something unconventional. Het or slash. It's doesn't matter. I will respond with at least 100 words discussing my opinions, feelings, and thoughts on that particular pairing.
Fandoms I Really Know:

LOST
Supernatural

Las Vegas
Fandoms I'm Kinda Know:
Firefly
NCIS

For the last two, I kinda jumped on at the end of this season, and I've caught a lot of reruns of SG-1 on SciFi, but if you could stick to the regulars on those two...

Dean and Sam would be absolutely hot together. Aside from the fact they are both ridiculously hot people, the snark would be fantastic. I don’t think they could maintain an actual relationship, because of who they both are, but I think they would have a very hot fling. The relationship would also be amusing for everyone else to watch, because of all the sniping and avoiding Sam would be doing (because she probably would really like him and not want anyone else to see it) but I think they’d be sweet in the end. They could work in some kind of way.

And that is why I love Nick/Sara! Sara was the character I first fell for on CSI and it was Nick/Sara that got me hooked. I can see why Sara would seem stiff but I just read her as a very reserved person who's not really sure of herself away from the science. And I guess that's part of why I like her; I'm quite reserved and solitary myself (although I think I'm a little better at the socialising thing). But I always liked the way she was around Nick; she seemed comfortable with him in a way she never really was with anyone else.
Seriously, when I heard that Sara was getting a boyfriend at end of S6, I really thought there was a good chance it might be Nick. But Grissom? After six years of him treating her like crap? *snarls at PTB* I could have a lovely long rant about why it's a Very Bad Idea for both characters (and I don't even like Grissom anymore) but I won't inflict that on you.
I'm trying to stay in my Happy Denial Place regarding GSR but my enjoyment of S7 has been seriously marred. But I'm trying to start writing Nick/Sara again and you've just reminded me of why I fell for them in the first place.
That was longer then I intended. *looks sheepish*

I can understand that too--but I didn't really fall for any of the female characters on CSI until Calleigh and Stella. And with Calleigh it even took a while. Sara just never really grabbed me the way I'd've hoped.

I second that. They both have too many issues they need to work out with themselves before they ever can focus on each other. They just don't work.

Hee! Well, I'm glad I could help.

Sooo, imagine my surprise to discover it was going on. You do present a logical and proper argument in favor of it, though. ;)

I like amusing myself by pairing Danny with a woman with a no-nonsense kind of style, because I think he has a lot more fun when he has to work to get the girl to loosen up. He likes the challenge. And to me, since Calleigh was already out of play, the next woman that kind of fit that bill was Sofia. Plus, they snark very well together once I started writing them, and I love it when a couple snarks well together. And they drove their fellow CSIs insane when they were constantly fighting with each other, and I enjoy writing stuff like that as well. So they just kinda worked for what I enjoy writing.
F/C:
One of the things that I absolutely love about Flack is the way he takes care of the people around him. And I think at this point, Calleigh really needs someone who is going to take care of her instead of someone who is going to add to the drama, and Flack seems to fit that bill rather well. Plus there’s that whole height difference thing, which is kinda adorable. And I can see Flack getting caught up in the whole Southern sweetheart idea. He might be into Calleigh a bit more than the city girls that he’s used to.

I like Mal and Inara, but going into the series, I didn’t really see the ship so much. There was a lot of sniping, which I liked, but I didn’t really think I could see them romantically. As they kept going though—I started to see them together a bit more. (Although, as much as I adore Wash/Zoe, I’m starting to like Mal/Zoe a bit myself.) I’m still not thrilled with them though, because I think that Mal talks down to her a bit more than he should if he actually cared about her. Maybe if he had decided to be a bit nicer to her about her chosen line of work, I might be a bit more in love with them, but—I just don’t get them.
