Made of win in so many ways.

Despite the serious Jack/Elizabeth vibes in DMC, I was kinda happy with the ending in this one. Will/Elizabeth works for me, and they didn't get the picture perfect happy ending, so I was happy. Also, my Norrington/Elizabeth heart broke a little bit, because I was hoping we'd get scruffy, DMC!Norrington back for one last hurrah, but it wasn't meant to be. We did get a kiss though. That made me a little giggly. I might write fic for it.

Elizabeth the Pirate King. This is probably my favorite role I've seen Elizabeth in, because she seriously kicked ass in this movie.

Jack was so much love in this movie. In all his incarnations. And Barbossa was so much more fun in this movie than he was as a villain. I really had a lot of fun watching the two of them go back and forth about everything, and the wedding scene was just awesome.

Seriously though--the reason why I love these movies, is that they're just so much fun to watch, and three is probably my favorite.



Also, I hate my brain, because you know what it's doing? It's going "You know you should pick up for your NP character over at dramaticmuses? Jack!" *headdesk* Bad enough I can't decide whether I want to give someone the Don Eppes they're asking for, or maybe pick up someone from Heroes...

...yes, I'm a character whore, why do you ask?

I almost cried about Norrington. ;_; At that point I was really liking his character a bazillion times more than I liked Will. And every time his sword popped up afterwards... :( But I also thought the movie was brilliant. Did you stay through the credits for the bit at the end?

Yeah, I did. It was cute. And me and my mom both thought they managed to find a kid who looked a lot like Keira Knightly.

Will was meh this movie, but Will and Elizabeth are just so pretty together, so by the end of the movie I was OK with it--but oh, Norrington...*sigh*

I just couldn't figure out what he was doing. I think maybe they were trying to get him to be all unpredictable like Jack, doing crazy things and getting results, but it was a bit confusing. Possibly because too many of them were making deals and no ones intentions were really clear. *shrug* I don't think I would have been happy with it ending not Will/Elizabeth though, so I'm glad it ended up that way, so much as it did.

I agree with you there. It seemed like everyone was screwing over everyone else, and it was never really clear who was working with who. But I guess that was the excitement of it.

I don't think I would have been happy with it ending not Will/Elizabeth though, so I'm glad it ended up that way, so much as it did.

Neither would I, now that I think about it. As much as I like the idea of Jack/Elizabeth--I would never really work.
