Hearing Colby's name on that tape broke my heart. It really did. Because aside from David and Don, Colby was my absolute favorite character. And I had started out thinking that this was going to be a good episode because Megan was back, and the whole team was together again, but then that had to happen. Damnit, why Colby?

I mean, I really loved this guy. And I could have dealt with if they had killed him off, or something like that, but they do something like this? Damnit.

I think I'm gonna go cry again.

I was shocked. I just...wtf did they do that for? Did the actor want to leave or something?

I don't watch Numb3rs religiously or anything, but I never would have considered the possibility that Colby would do something like that. Did I miss something? Did they give any clues?

They had a guy who was with Colby in the army who they busted for being a spy for the Chinese--the guy Colby and David went to see in prison. But other than that--there was nothing. I think it blew all of the fans out of the water.

And I'm just really freakin' upset.

I'm boycotting that episode. I've heard enough about it. I'm going to wait until I've had time to adjust to the idea and then watch.

I think that's why I'm so pissed off, because I was completely caught off guard. Maybe if I had been spoiled for it, I might have been a bit more prepared.

Nope. I read this, decided I had to see it to believe it, and spent the entire time it was downloading trying to wrap my head around why. It just...doesn't make any sense to me. The only logical thing I can come up with is Dylan Bruno wanted to leave the show, and TPTB decided to go out with a bang (sorry).

Man. I'd basically forgotten about Numb3rs this entire season. Hell of an ep to try and get back into it with. I feel like David right at the end, when he storms into interrogation and starts to flip out at Colby.

One more thing: There better be oodles of depressed!drunken!betrayed!Don and David and Megan fic coming out of this.

That much of a bang? I think I could have handled killing him better than I handled this.

Absolutely. I know that I'm definitely writing one for David, and the others might just come out in their own way.

I know what you mean. It just felt really, really fake and OOC to me. Like, I do not get the feeling that Colby could have lied so much and so often to David and Don and them, and not cracked. It just...doesn't make sense, and I'm genuinely ticked off at it.

Heh. I've started one, but I can't get my brain to wrap around it.
