Yeah. Mac definitely has problems with authority. The interactions between Mac and Gerrard or Sinclair are definitely reminding me of Danny moments in "On the Job" or "Crimes and Misdemeanors," and that's starting to really starting to bother me. But what's different about the two of them is that Danny was trying to explain his point of view. He'd try to get Mac to understand why he did what he did. Mac is just smug. He doesn't think about the consequences of the word he's chosen. Gerrard came to him as a fellow cop to try and make him understand what Sinclair was going to do, and give him a heads up, and Mac called him a kiss ass. This is why I don't like being inside Mac Taylor's brain. He's arrogant, smug--he's not such a nice guy.

Also--Scottie/Stella, my new crossover crack ship. I absolutely adored the scene between them where they were going over the evidence from the Philly case, and he was all awkward and adorable, and she was just giving him a look like 'you can't be serious, right?' Cute. All shippyness aside, I actually was more intrigued with Stella's end of the episode than I was the actual body. Although I did love Lindsay's reaction to the wings. And the trigonometry. Also, any Adam involved was awesome.

Three things:

1. Locke, if I were Sawyer, I would have kicked your ass.

2. I want to know what the hell Jack and Juliet know.

3. WHY, KATE, WHY?

See, Scottie is probably the one part of Cold Case that I can really tolerate, and I loved the way he and Stella interacted last night. Too cute.

I still don't see it as such a good thing. Because Mac may be the head of his team, but he still needs to listen to a higher power. If he can't do that, then he's A) going to lose his job, or B) he's going to do some serious damage to the reputation of the lab. In the big picture? This ain't so good for him.

Yup. It's one of the many reasons why I can't stand Mac these days.

Hehe, I saw a little somethin'-somethin' in their scenes as well. *lol* It's only a matter of time before I see Scottie/Stella stories on my friends' page. :P

I hope so. I don't watch Cold Case enough to really feel justified in writing Scottie, but if other people do, I wouldn't mind reading them.
