three things about tonight:

1. that bit where adam was rambling about ghosts and extoplasm --> not helping me not want to write a CSI:NY/SPN crossover where Sam and Dean encounter Adam and his distant cousin [insert AJ's character from "Hell House" here].

2. i never want to see nelly furtado act again. that last scene--it was like she was reading it off the paper.

3. maybe it's because i've watched too many sci-fi/fantasy/soap opera bits, but the fact that they never found claire's remains (although i don't know how well this speaks of her) has me thinking a "claire's alive" twist coming. especially with her son being involved now and all. that would actually be kind of interesting, if the writers could pull off something feasible. but then again, this is supposed to be a procedural drama with firm routes in reality. but an evil!fic writer might be able to do something interesting with it.

that is true. i didn't really care about him either way before this season, and now he's pissing me off.

...i guess that's a step in the right direction.

i think it was the fact that he went off on Hawkes for no good reason was irking me. very in character...but made me angry.

Grissom tends to piss me off with his inaction and blah personality more than Mac ever did, so I don't really know how that worked...

I definitely agree going off on Hawkes was nasty. I don't remember the context of the episode, like why Mac would have gotten that angry about it... I do also think it was in-character (I mean, he fired Aiden for just considering messing with evidence), but did he really need to force Lindsay to stay and witness the exchange? Not at all.

But being pissed about a character's actions seems better than not caring about the character at all. Hmm. ^^

grissom--he's got great one-liners, but other than that--he bugs me. no pun intended.

and that does seem to work more, for me too. if a character gets you angry, it means you're paying attention to him. which is good. especially when you're supposed to be carrying the show.

Heh, there was that line last Thursday... it was during the opener, just before it cut to the main credits, and he's like "you know what Grissom would say here..." and I can't remember Keppler's exact response, but it was something like 'something witty' or whatever. It amused me. ^^; I like first season Grissom, especially Pilot!Grissom, because he had a lot more personality than in the later seasons. He has improved somewhat this season, but I haven't even missed him the past few weeks, so I guess that's not saying much.

i haven't actually watched much after "Fannysmackin'". the season was just boring me. they didn't have anything interesting going on, and i happen to loathe grissom/sara, so it didn't really have any appeal for me.

that was when i switched over to supernatural.

I've been catching episodes here and there, and half the time I'm doing something other than paying attention, but I wanted to see what they did with Keppler. He's more interesting than Grissom, for the most part, and he's only been around for three weeks. ;)

Our reception of the CW is really bad, so it's practically a waste of time to try to watch Supernatural as it airs on Thursdays. Mostly I catch it as AVIs my sister gets from one of her friends. :-/

i'm too lazy to catch up with CSI on innertube. and i completely understand about the lousy reception. i had to put up with it for years before we got satelite. we were always fiddling with the antenna, trying to get a clearer signal.
