CSI:NY writers, you disappoint me...

ok, flack charming the lady with the baby? cute.

flack with his snarky remarks, all well and good.

but WHERE WAS THE FLACK/TRANNY FLIRTING!?!?!? *headdesk*

i understand it would probably be to barely anyone's amusement but my own, but c'mon! flack never gets unwanted flirting! it's always danny. danny danny danny! someone as good looking as flack is never not hit on. and while last season's bit with the con was nice...it's not nearly as amusing as if he was hit on by a drag queen. he should have talked to the one with the watch...or at least with stella, if they still wanted her to pick up on it so bad. *pouts*

and the danny/lindsay stuff was kinda cute. and while half the time i'm oblivious to her...i'm gonna miss her. and hopefully when she comes back, things won't be as rocky for her as they were this time around.

...i still don't know what to make out about what carmine said though. i'm not sure if i really really want it to happen or thing it's a bad bad idea.

I'm just glad that they didn't have Flack make the stereotypical male comments about transexuals. I would have been semi crushed if he'd gone all disgusted about it.

I thought the DL stuff was cute too and I think it was really in character for her to not say goodbye face to face.

me too. i was hoping he'd be amused by the whole thing, which he was...i was just hoping for more.

i actually really liked that. it seemed like something she would do, and it felt natural. which is always a plus.

I come from a very small town so when stuff like that comes up, I tend to expect the worst especially since Flack has always been portrayed as the everyman. I'm glad they didn't go that route. It would have been funny to see him banter with a drag queen though. He should have been the one to interrogate Cookie (i think that was her name).

I'm glad it was all drama drama like I thought it was going to be. I really thought danny would be upset. Plus, she signed her name Montana. That was so cute.

i definitely understand the small community opinion thing. i went to private school for most of my growing up years, and they tend to brainwash you to think a certain way. and interaction between flack and cookie? (i think you're right) would have been perfect.

they didn't make a big deal out of it, which was nice. it just happened, and they moved on. which really worked for the two of them.

1. You have 'drag queens' as a tag. This made me laugh.

2. Flack getting hit on by one of the trannies? That would have made the episode even better.

I'm fascinated by sexuality in general--hey, slash isn't all about the hot sex for me!...ok, maybe that's a big part of it, but still.. XP

Flack would have been his usual snarky self, and we would have been laughing our asses off (at his wit, not the poor soul barking up the wrong tree). Nothing phases that man, and he wouldn't miss a beat. Not only would I love to see a scene like that, I'd love to see them filming a scene like that. Eddie is just awesome.

But seriously, I'm wondering what it means that I thought "Quentin" was hawt. Yeah, it's a guy, which is cool, but she looks like a woman, which I'm alright with...Maybe it makes me officially bi-sexual? Does that mean I don't exist? *lol*

for me it's more because i'm a theater person, and in the theater there's always all kinds of gender bending going on. like the fact that john travolta is going to be playing a woman in one of his up coming movies...(i mean seriously playing a woman. the character is a woman played by a man)...has got me excited beyond reason.

eddie is amazing. he seriously is. i was listening to the commentary for "bad beat" on the s2 dvds, and they said for one take during the canvasing scene for the last one, that he looked up and down the hallway before walking into the apartment saying "alright, make it quick."

Quentin was pretty attractive for a man as a woman *shrugs* who knows? for me there's thinking someone is pretty, and then there's attraction. it's more than just thinking someone's hawt...although that can be part of it.

Hmm, theater was never my thing. It's an interesting perspective, though. ;)

I'm not just attracted to someone because of appearance--I've never actually liked someone just for that, it develops after getting to know the person, and who they are makes them more 'attractive,' so to speak. The thing about Quentin was just me being playful, although there's certainly a thread of truth in it. ;)

I was thinking the same thing! One of the girls hitting on Flack would have had me all OVER the place!
Flack being the one to ID the "John Doe" cracked me up. That rather contemplative look he got, zero'd in on the adams apple, then casually lifted the skirt. That scene will keep me cracking up for the next couple of days. Lady I am taking to Sam's club will probably look at me rather oddly. ;-)

D/L- *BLAH!* Personally, I'd rather not see ANY on-screen shipping of any sort. Not just because I am a slasher. Lindsey's card to Danny did crack me up. Maybe if they handle the romo a bit more maturely when she comes back, I can deal with it better. My gawd, butAnna (Montana) was bigger than my neighbor, who was due yesterday! I was wondering how much longer she was going to hold out.

flack is love. end of story.

i love shipper moments but i don't want to see any on-screen shipping either. the show just doesn't seem the place for it, and i don't think the writers can handle it. and i don't really ship danny/lindsay that much to begin with to want it on screen. but i think the moments were cute. that's all.

i was very sad there was no flack/drag queen flirting. at least flack had a kid around as a prop. it was very nice. i'm beginning to think that tptb are reading our lj comments... :/

okay, and flack's line about women in the men's bathroom? "i can think of plenty of reasons, and all with happier endings." so much love for that line. the look he shared with stella on that one was priceless.

hoenstly, i think that canon!DL would be a bad idea. not just because it's what makes babies cry, or because i hardcore ship flack and lindsay, but because i think that having two (main) characters in a relationship wouldn't be a good idea. especially since it's been so publicized and such. everyone making such a big deal. if it happened on its own, it would be fine. i wouldn't object to flack/stella, because they have good chemistry and it's hot and they go well together character-wise. anyway.

carmine said that by the end of the season, danny and lindsay would be in the sack. which makes me worried, because, personally, neither of them are ready for that, character wise. DL gives me a headache.

hee...i wish they would. then i might be a lot happier with the way they're shipping.

if they had to have a canon ship, i think i'd want to see anything but mac/stella or danny/lindsay. because those are the two ships that i really don't think are ready to handle each other at any point. they need something more than that.
