Here's how you play: Once you have been tagged, you have to write a blog with 11 weird or random things, facts, or habits about yourself. 1. My taste in music is eclectic and sporadic. The current playlist I'm listening to has 76 songs (out of the 512 on my iPod) that feature the Pointer Sisters, the Scissor Sisters, Mika, Queen, songs from Happy Feet, showtunes, AC/DC, Cowboy Troy, and many, many more.
2. I have a plot bunny of Jack Sparrow, waiting to be rescued in limbo, and happening to encounter various characters from various fandoms I have that happened to be unconscious/half-dead at some point during the season. There were five of them: Sawyer, Dean, Flack, Brass, and House. I haven't written it yet, but God, I really, really want to.
3. I have an oral fixation. I always have to have something in my mouth. I chew gum, the ends of pens, when I was a kid I used to chew paper to get my fix (because I couldn't chew gum in school). It was kinda bad.
4. I am pretty much an example of the anti-college student. I don't like to party or get drunk, I'm a bit of a hermit--I just have no motivation to do stupid college things.
5. I've only had alcohol once in my life. It was prom weekend of my senior year, and my friend's brother bought us a bunch of booze. I finished one wine cooler, started another, but didn't finish it. That being said--I've never been drunk. It just doesn't appeal to me.
6. I collect Pez dispensers. Or I did when I was a kid, and my aunt, who somehow finds the coolest Pez stuff ever, keeps feeding the habit.
7. I went to a private Catholic school from kindergarten through eighth grade. By the time my class had reached grade six, there were fifteen girls, and six boys. Needless to say, those three years were probably the worst of my academic career. Possibly my life.
8. I don't stress. Not really. I realize that when things are due, I'll be absolutely screwed if I don't get them done, but I don't panic about it really. I'm not really motivated that way.
9. I'm also a bit of a control freak. Usually it's when it comes to the music on the radio, or the show that's on TV. When it comes to stuff like that, I'm kinda my way or the highway. I'm really particular about how I want things to go. My brother says I'm selfish--I think I have control issues.
10. I really suck at leaving feedback. Like really suck. I can usually ocme up with some good stuff later, after I've given it a minute to digest, but sometimes I can't even do that. I need to discuss things in order to really analyze what the author's trying to say, and to get my ideas started, and that doesn't always happen on the internet. And I...
11. ...also have a terrible short term memory. And I'd rather leave crappy feedback than none at all. So I do. Occasionally, if I read it over again, and something comes to me, or I remember it later (which never happens) I'll come back and leave more complicated feedback, but other than that--yeah, I pretty much suck.
