More Answers for the Interests Meme:
Dean (Winchester)/Calleigh (Duquesne) - I love this ship. I really do. Because Calleigh kicks ass on her own, but combined with Dean? That's a whole new level of kickass. And they both kind of break in the same way, I guess. They feel more than they let on, because they feel like they need to keep the strong face on, whether it be because they're at work, or because someone needs them to be that strong. So, I guess in that way, they kind of know how to support each other.
(Eric) Delko/(Erica) Sikes - This one is all the prompt generator's fault. Which then mutated into me claiming them for the
Stella (Bonasera)/(Sid) Hammerback - I ship Stella/Hammerback from before I knew he was married. Now that he is, I've kind of backed off on that ship a bit, but I love the way he had Stella interact together. She rarely ever tells him that he's going into the creepy place (in fact, he often seems more amused than anything else) and they still have that emotional support level (like in "Not What it Looks Like" when they were down in the morgue with the victim, and Stella was there for him emotionally). I actually even wrote a fic for them once. They're a bit cracktastic too, I guess, but I like them.
singing in the shower - I love singing in the shower. I haven't done it so much since I moved into the dorm, but it's probably the only place, aside from the comforts of my own room, where I will actually let myself relax and sing and not worry about if I'm singing it right. I really do love music more than I let on. I can't really do anything without it.
Nick Potter - Nick Potter is the baby ADA from my dead show, Conviction. Nick actually had a pretty dramatic storyline that I probably should have paid attention to, but didn't. He's on my interests list more for the fact that I like abusing him in fic more than anything else. Because that's just the way he is (to me anyway).
Christian (Taylor)/Aiden (Burn) - This is one of my OC couples from my giant cracktastic CSIverse/Everworld crossover. While I'm really not an Aiden fan, Christian really liked her. Really really liked her. And since he holds a very special place in my heart, and knows it, he therefore railroaded me into not following canon, and killing her off like I had intended to. And they really are adorable together. Kinda snarky and fun. (I really need to gain more control over my characters. I listen to them a bit too much.)
Samantha Spade - Samantha is one of the agents from Without a Trace. While she isn't my favorite character on the show, I do like her snarky moments, and can tolerate her so long as she's not romantically attached to any other character (Jack or Martin for example). Her relationship issues make me cringe. But other than that, she's reasonably likable. I guess.
singing in the shower - see above.
Sayid - I love Sayid because--he's an extremely complex character. Especially with his background in the Republican Guard as an "interrogator." I guess I like him more for his backstory and his principles than anything else. Regardless of what's going on on the island or in his head, he sticks to his guns, but that could be dangerous for those around him, because his gun sticking could end in him torturing some poor
showtunes - I'm ridiculously addicted to musicals. Especially those done by Stephen Sondheim (lyrics or music, doesn't really matter). I think that's all that really needs to be said.
Charlie Pace - I adore Charlie. Mostly for the fact that Dominic Monaghan is one of the most adorable actors I know, and he conveys that into Charlie's character occasionally. But Charlie's got his up moments and his down moments and while sometimes the downs outnumber the up--if TPTB kill him off at the end of the season--I'm still going to cry.
Max Bialystock - is the King of Broadway, who was played fabulously by Nathan Lane. He's completely full of shit, but he knows it and uses it to his advantage, even when he's surrounded by people who make him look like the sane one. It's awesome.
Kate Austen - Kate's another character who hooked me because of her backstory. Otherwise, I really could care less about her, and her driving need to save Jack all the damn time. I think I really watch LOST not for the characters themselves or the island, but for the aspects of their past as they come out. Because I like backstory a lot. I do.
