“Are you going to be seeing that guy tonight?” Delko asked with a smirk as he and Calleigh started going over the evidence from the crime scene. She rolled her eyes before responding.
“Dean doesn’t do Valentine’s day,” she sighed, “If he saw Cupid he would probably go after him with a shotgun.”
“I would not,” a voice protested from behind her, “He’s a chubby little kid in a diaper. He’s harmless.” Calleigh quirked an eyebrow, before turning around to face the man at the door. Delko quietly excused himself, giving them a little privacy. Dean gave her a grin, and held out his arms to her, “Surprised to see me?”
“A little,” Calleigh admitted as she walked over, “Thought you didn’t do Valentine’s Day?”
“Well, Sam enlightened me on the aspects of the holiday that you don’t really think about.”
“You just wanna get laid,” she smirked, and he laughed.
“Maybe.”
“Well then you better have a damn good gift,” Calleigh smirked, before giving him a quick kiss, “Or you might not be getting yours.”
He watched her as she went back to work, and then turned leave, “I’ll be right back.”

“Oh! Detective Curtis!” the receptionist shouted, and Sofia turned in surprise. “There’s someone here to see you.” She blinked in surprise when she saw Don there, but then a smile quickly came to her face.
“Agent Eppes,” she said.
“Detective Curtis,” he said, returning the smile.
“What are you doing in Vegas?” she asked.
“Well, we just finished wrapping up a case, and I figured I’d drop in and see if you were up for a late dinner?”
“On Valentine’s Day?” she smirked.
“Well—if you didn’t have any other plans.”
“I actually work nights,” she replied, “I’m sorry.”
“I understand,” Don nodded, “Would breakfast be better?”
She laughed slightly before responding, “I think I might be able to work something out.”

“So where’s my present?”
Danny turned and found Aiden standing in front of him, hands on her hips. He gave her a blank look before frowning. “What present?”
The smug look on her face melted, and she glared at him, “My Valentine’s Day present—you have one, don’t you?”
Danny’s eyes widened in fear, “It’s—uhh—it’s at home. I wanted to give it to you—ya know—later.”
“Oh, Danny, if you forgot Valentine’s Day, I’m gonna kick your ass into next week.”
“What? Forget?” he gave her a look, “Aiden, I did not forget Valentine’s Day.”
“Then what did you get me?” she said, crossing her arms in front of her chest.
“Now why would I tell you that?” he said, mimicking the gesture, “It’ll ruin the damn surprise.”
“Danny,” she said, her face turning sober, “Please tell me you didn’t forget.”
“I didn’t forget,” he replied, “As I said, I’m giving it to you later.” He turned back to his locker and watched as she walked over, and spun the dial on her locker. When she got it open, a bouquet of red roses popped out at her. A giant smile crossed her face, and she turned to face him.
“Aww—Danny,” she said, moving closer and giving him a quick kiss. When this kiss was over, though, she smacked him upside the head, “Never scare me like that again.”

“You guys have dates or something?” Greg asked as Nick and Catherine arrived at the scene, all dressed up. They just looked each other up and down before Catherine responded.
“I guess so,” she sighed, “Too bad, Nicky.”
“Too bad for you too,” Nick replied with a small smirk.
Greg gave them a look, before getting up, “You guys take the body, I’ll go do perimeter shots?”
“Sounds good,” Nick nodded. When the younger man disappeared, he gave Catherine a look, “We ever gonna tell him that we were each other’s dates?”
Catherine glanced over at him before shrugging, “He’s a CSI now. Let him figure it out.”

“What?” Calleigh frowned.
“Natalia and I got this,” he said, “Get out.”
“Delko—we got called in for a case,” Ryan replied.
“Yes. And it’s Valentine’s Day,” Delko explained, “And since Natalia and I don’t have someone to spend it with, we are covering your case, and you two are getting out of here before Horatio sees you and recants on the deal I just made with him so—get. Out. Now.”
“Well, who can argue with that?” Calleigh laughed, before turning and grabbing a confused Ryan’s hand and dragged him out the door, “C’mon Wolfe. Don’t make him throw you out.”
“—Thanks, Delko,” Ryan shook his head, and the taller man laughed.
“Anytime, man. Anytime.”
