Summary: Nick can’t sleep, and it’s clearly Stella’s job to help him do so.
Author’s Note: Written forafteriwake who asked for Stella for the Virginity Meme. And here’s another pairing I haven’t broken out in a while.

“Why are you still awake?” Stella groaned as she felt Nick’s hands on her sides and she rolled over to face him, raising an eyebrow. It was late. Very late. Stella was actually supposed to be sleeping but Nick seemed rather intent to keep her awake. Or, at least not sleeping himself, which was not allowing her to sleep. He kept shifting on his side of the bed, and the constant moving of his weight forcing her not to settle.
“I can’t help it,” he sighed. “I’m still on Vegas time, and I’m used to working graveyard.”
She groaned as she rolled over to face him, propping her head up on one elbow as she looked at him carefully. “And what we were doing earlier wasn’t enough to kill all that excess energy?”
“Apparently not,” he smirked back at her, brushing a kiss to her shoulder lightly, before looking up at her with a sly grin. “Though I wouldn’t object to trying it again and seeing if it’ll stick.”
She rolled her eyes and gave him a shove, before shaking her head. “Maybe we could try talking or something as oppose to wearing ourselves out that way.”
“Fine, fine,” Nick sighed, collapsing back against the bed. “What do you wanna talk about?”
“Better question: what haven’t we talked about?”
Nick let out a slow breath as he considered that for a moment, before giving her a curious look. “We haven’t done the relationship thing yet.”
Stella bit her lip slightly, and looked away for a moment. Her previous relationships haven’t always been the most stellar, and she wasn’t sure she wanted to delve into all of them right then. It wasn’t exactly the conversation that was made for trying to talk themselves to sleep, and Nick seemed to sense that, before running a hand against her side lightly.
“Just tell me a simple one,” he said softly. “Like—what about your first boyfriend?”
At that she relaxed a little more before nodding. “I was sixteen. He was a nice boy. Funny, sweet, considerate. He was good people.”
Nick nodded slowly, before smirking at her. “Did you two—” His hand started to wander down the plane of her stomach, and she smirked back at him, stopping his wrist with her hand before nodding.
“Yes, we did. And again, it was—sweet. He was a good choice for a first time.”
“Good,” he nodded slowly, considering this for a moment before tilting his head at her. “Do I get to know his name?”
Stella smirked slightly before shaking her head. “Gotta leave some mystery to it, don’t I?”
Nick chuckled slightly, before relaxing against the pillows and closing his eyes. “Yeah, I guess that’s fair.”
“Good,” Stella nodded, before settling in next to him again. “Think you can sleep now?”
“I think so,” he sighed, draping an arm around her and pulling her closer. They both settled into each other, just getting close and getting comfortable. Stella closed her eyes, relaxing comfortably against each other for a while. The minutes passed, and she heard Nick’s breathing evening out next to her, and as the clock continued to tick away, and her eyes flew open after a minute, before shifting and swatting him on the chest lightly.
“Damnit, Nick.”
He stirred sleepily, before giving her a look that was almost a pout. “What’d I do?”
