I loathe politics. I told myself I was going to be informed this campaign season, and mostly I just get annoyed instead. I didn't even watch the debate tonight - I couldn't watch the whole thing last time because I wanted to hurl things at the TV or spaz out or something.

My dad watched it though. When I walked by I just kind of ran.

I already know who I'm voting for anyway.

Journalism major, so I kind of have to watch. It just -- they make my head hurt. Really. They do. And they keep bringing up each other's record and I'm like -- I don't give a shit about that. The only time I actually agreed with either of them was the Roe v. Wade discussion, and I wanted to slap McCain for the things he said there.

...As I said -- I hate politics.

I don't get the obsession with their records or who they are acquainted with that might have done Bad Things 40 years ago or whether they ever did cocaine or whatever else - the past is the past, and people are allowed to change their minds or regret things or just move on. I'm far more concerned with what they will do than what they have done.

I agree. It's like they're trying to drive in the fact that people can't change and it sucks.

It was just bad on McCain's part. I think Obama handled it well, but -- McCain was just attacking him every chance he got.

love that simple 4 letter word sentence...when i read that, i just giggled a bit. I agree with u, too, though. Glad that this is the last one for another...what? 4 years or whatever! I was ACTUALLY looking forward to tonight's episode and found out hours earlier that "CSI NY" was goin' to be postponed. Geez that bad news REALLY made my day...damn!!!

I knew that it was getting preempted because I'm a journalism major so I knew it was coming. Otherwise, I probably would have been just as disappointed.
