Caim - War Cry
Fandom: Supernatural(ish) (But could be considered Original)
Title: War Cry
Author:
iluvroadrunner6
Rating: FRT
Characters: Caim, Avnas, mentions of Alloces (all non-canon)
Content Warning: …heh. Based on an RP canon.
Summary: Pride was always going to be her downfall.
Author's Note (of DOOOOOOM): Okay. So. This is technically part of a big demon plot that I’m playing out in RP where Caim (the demon who’s POV this is from) is technically only an NPC. However, this was bugging me, and I had to write it down and post it somewhere since he’s not getting his own journalyet because I certainly don’t need another demon to prompt/RP. Anyway, this is set after a scene where Alloces slaughters a shit load of people after finding out that Avnas (Amy) is supposedly dead, and Caim is trying to get him back on focus to kill Ruby. I don’t really expect anyone to read this, I’m just needed to put it somewhere so I can link to it later if necessary.
Disclaimer: Supernatural references? Not mine. The Supernatural universe? Also not mine. The names are sort of borrowed from mythology. But the rest of it is, essentially, mine, and I’d be much obliged if you didn’t steal it.
It was amazing how the pieces fell into place. How minds were so easily swayed to a side based on ideas of familiarity and logic, reason and comfort. He makes a demon disappear, and a week later, it’s almost as though he wasn’t involved at all. The fact that he was involved, however, and that he had his hand in it only made it all the sweeter.
Avnas was always more prideful than would allow herself to admit. She often proclaimed herself as the only one that could control Alloces, when Caim was starting to find that that really wasn’t the case. All Alloces needed was a little bit of—direction—with which to angle his destructive tendencies. Nothing more, nothing less. And Caim was more than willing to provide that small bit of direction so long as it proved beneficial to his interests.
Alloces was a great path of destruction. He was an nuclear warhead of flesh and blood, and while that was useful, every so often to just let him lose and see what happens, there were times where he needed a gentle push in the right direction, and as far as Caim was concerned, the man was playing right into his hands, totally and completely.
He crossed the ruins of what used to be one of hell’s castles, now nothing but rubble and rock. Sitting there, in the middle of it all, was a beast in a cage, a monster with her knees pulled to her chest and her head tucked down between her knees. All it was now was a matter of time, before she’d be straining through the confines of her box, pushing against the hardened edges that held her in place, straining for freedom, begging to feel the wind against her body again, and when she did, he would get the information he needed.
Caim was a patient demon. He could bide his time, more or less.

Shade doesn't like him very much. That is..if he knew what was going on. That pesky honorable side of him that pops up every so often.

Then - you were gone?
Then - you still haven't answered the roll in the hay thing.
