Author's Note: For [livejournal.com profile] darkmagic_luvr. Amy is a demon set in the supernatural mythology. So she's kind of an OC kind of not because she's technically a real demon.

Every demon has a sin.

And not one of those things like kleptomaniacs or the people who swear a lot it was something baser than that. The Father outlined ten commandments, but it was always so much simpler than that. There were always a base seven, powerful yet deadly, and every demon had one. Just one. Occasionally more than one, but those were rare, and one was usually more prominent than the other.

Amy’s was lust.

There was just something about the carnal urge, the carnal desire that she couldn’t resist. Occasionally she would play with anger or pride, but lust was just it. There was something about the way someone looks at you when all they want to do is tear your clothes off and go back to one of the most animalistic of instincts that was such a huge turn on. Especially when it was rough, with the scratching and the biting and—it was enough to send shivers down her spine.

However, sometimes lust could be used to gain certain advantages. Like, for instance, wearing a short skirt, low cut top, and high heels, followed flirting your way into an NYPD bullpen to look for information from a certain detective friend?

Flack just happened to be pushing himself away from his desk when she got there, and she gave him a grin before plopping down into his lap to keep him from going anywhere. “Hey, Don,” she said with a sigh, draping her arms around his neck. “How’s it going?”

“What do you want?” Flack replied flatly, giving her a look and Amy only pouted.

“Is that any way to treat the person who got you back in the sack?”

Flack rolled his eyes, before starting to push her off him. “Will you get off me, please?”

“Are you going to run away from me?”

“No,” Flack sighed and she got up, perching herself on his desk, before crossing her legs in front of him. He shook his head, and she knew that wasn’t what he meant, but she really didn’t care, using the heel of her shoe to catch the armrest of the chair and pulling him closer—not showing too much but just enough, all at the same time. “How’d they even let you in here anyway?”

“I’m pretty,” she said, giving him a flirty grin.

“You know, are you ever going to stop flirting with every cop in the room—including me?”

“Well, I can’t help it if you’re pretty,” she grinned. He rolled his eyes, before pushing her legs off the edge of his chair.

“What do you want, Amy?”

“I’m here to surrender my fingerprints,” she said with a nod, holding out her hands to the man in front of her. He looked down at her hands, then back up at her with a slightly suspicious look.

“Why would you need to do that?”

“Because I was at your crime scene before it was a crime scene, screwing your vic,” she said with a shrug. She wasn’t exactly going to apologize for it. After the past couple weeks she’d had, she could use a little R&R. A little bump and grind. “Not so hot on the physical end, but damn, he was a kinky bastard. Anyway—I’m probably all over the place, so I’d figure I’d surrender what I need to so you can rule me out.”

Flack’s look turned suspicious at this point, and he crossed his arms in front of his chest. “And why should we rule you out?”

“Cuz I didn’t kill him,” she said, shaking her head. “Duh.” He continued to give her a look, and she rolled her eyes. “I don’t kill people. Not intentionally.” Okay, the last part was lying through her teeth, but she wasn’t about to confess to the countless murders she’d committed since she walked the earth.

“Who said this was intentional?”

“The man was stabbed forty-two times, Detective—that screams of intentional to me,” she said with a sigh. “Besides, the last time I saw him was two days ago, mmmkay? Now are you going to interrogate me, or take my prints?” She wiggled her fingers in his face, and he rolled his eyes, before jerking his head towards the door.

“Alright—I’ll take you over to the lab to get ‘em done.”

“Thank you,” she said with a sigh as she hopped off the table. “Now that wasn’t so hard, was it?”

He gave her another look, and she just smirked, knowing that she was two steps closer to getting where she wanted to go.

The lab tech was taking her prints, and she was looking aimlessly and innocently around the room as she did, taking in the different sights. She’d never been in a crime lab before, and if she hadn’t been on a mission to keep herself hidden for a little while longer, she would have been asking countless questions—just to get on Flack’s nerves. He’d make a very pretty toy if he wasn’t so serious all the time.

Her eyes wandered through the glass window, and she spotted someone going over exactly what she had been looking for. Devil’s shoestring—what probably came off as a bunch of sticks bundled over the top of his door, but still carried away for evidence nonetheless. All it took was a small minute of concentration before the branches lit on fire, going up in flames in the second it took for the tech to turn her back.

“Oh my God!” Amy gasped. “Your evidence is on fire!”

Flack’s eyes turned on her and narrowed slightly, and she gave him the most innocent look she could muster—which was pretty damn innocent if she did say so herself. He just glared at her, before going over to see if the tech was okay, and she swallowed with a small smile, letting the tech finish what he was doing.

Her work there was done.

Interesting. I hope to see more of her in the future.

Unrelated question: did you ever get my replies to the RRs? Yours were coming in kind of sketchy last night, and you hadn't replied yet.

I got one from the ComicCon one, but I couldn't find the notification in my Message Center, so I was confused as to whether I already answered it or not.

I'm glad you liked it.
