- The case was good. Lots of Stella, but it wasn't overdone, which was good.
- Lots of Hawkes, which is always welcome.
- We had some Adam, which is always fun. OH. By the way -- he has such a school boy crush on Stella. So cute.
- The D/L scene wasn't too painful (and almost welcome because I really hope things weren't fixed because Lindsay needs to do some stuff without having Danny constantly protrude his way into her storyline).

- Regardless of that though, NOT PLEASED with Danny. AT ALL.

what did Danny do?

I think it should be apparent by this time that I don't watch the show that much anymore and I rely on you to keep me informed.

A couple months ago, a boy Danny was supposed to be keeping an eye on died in a bodega shooting. We just found out tonight that Danny is now doing the nasty with the grieving mother --

-- while he's supposedly in a relationship with Lindsay.

somehow, I'm not surprised.

Danny just doesn't scream long-term boyfriend to me. he seems like the guy who would feel trapped after a while.

but, this totally means that Flack and Lindsay can get together now, right? ....right?

Yes, but you'd think a guy with his loyalty issues would at least be stand up enough to break it off with the woman he works with before screwing the lady down the hall, especially if his girlfriend is someone he works with. You know that he wouldn't react very well if things were the other way around and Lindsay was the one stepping out. I wanted to smack him the entire episode.

Now, Lindsay doesn't know he's cheating at this point, but she feels like he's getting distant, and while she knows that he needs space to deal, she's starting to feel a little too under appreciated. So she stood up for herself and didn't get all clingy and weepy, and it was actually a really nice moment, and hopefully, we'll start to get more decent character development out of it, minus the fact that she's Danny's flavor of the week.

And I think we should give it a couple months but I say hell yes. She needs some stable-ness and no Danny!drama for a while.

If you want to break up, whatever, dude. That's life. You don't go getting it on with the woman on the side while stringing your girlfriend along on the other side. Seriously, why didn't he just break up with Lindsay first or as soon as? Now he's a being a major jerkwad.

I'm also very proud of Lindsay for sticking up for herself. Good for her.

At least Flack seems like a real man instead of a mouse.

I really don't know what Danny's doing. I really, really don't, but I hope Lindsay gets some sense and gets out.

I'm glad that they didn't have Lindsay suffer the soap opera fate (You know, she walks into his apartment and catches him with the woman) and I'm really glad she didn't get all weepy and kept her dignity.

I'm really, really hoping that this gives Lindsay a springboard for the writers where she can actually get some decent character development. It really pissed me off when they injected Danny into that scene in Montana and turned her into just a love interest, and here they were starting to win me back again, and I really hope that they keep heading in this direction, instead of dragging her back.

I know that seems to be a lot to ask on a show that only gives stuff like that to Mac, Stella and Danny, but I'm really hoping here.

Sad to hear, because I love Danny. I hope something happens so that they fix it, myself.
