When Fandoms collide...

For those of you that don't know, my brain is on crack. Please keep that in mind while I spam you with random between me and toxic_shadow, who indulges me for this particular instance.

So I've been on a Ryan Reynolds kick all weekend. I'm kind of in love with him. He's funny and pretty and has abs of steel. But anyway, So this weekend involved me blowing through all of season one of Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (which also stars Traylor Howard, also known as Natalie Teegar on Monk), Waiting, that episode he guested on on Scrubs, some of Blade Trinity and Van Wilder (in which he made out with a very young Sophia Bush, coincidence of coincidences). (I'd watched Smokin' Aces a while ago, and while that's the movie I really love him for, my brain still hasn't quite recovered.)

Regardless, I wanted to get around to watching the Van Wilder spin-off, Van Wilder 2: The Rise of Taj, because of Lauren Cohan (Bela on Supernatural) and Kal Penn (Kutner on House), whether I fell for Ryan or not, but this weekend just happened to speed along the process.

And then, I was checking my flist, and there was an icon of Lauren, with her rapier and her little smirk, made by misty_creates. It kind of was the culmination of my day.

Totally love RR in blade and became a squeeing fangirl at that time. I went to my online service after I read you post and they don't have "two guys..." very depressed and thinking of chaning services.

I really enjoyed Ssmokin' Aces - That is what a professional writers crack story looks like. [g]

The entire first season is up on YouTube in sections. They're only half hour episodes, so it's like three seven minute sections each.

I enjoyed it too -- it was a well written story and had some great action scenes, but it was way too much shooting for me.

I adore Kal Penn. So much. And they're pretty good for American Pie-esque movies. There was only really a few times where I was like -- ugh. But Kal's pretty good in both.
