Apart from lemon meringue, apple and the occasional pecan? We seem to prefer cake. Or pavlova. A few kinds of custard and/or fruit tarts. But very few pies.

pumpkin pie is very big over here on thanksgiving.

but i think this is the only real national holiday that has pie so closely intertwined. however, i happen to be quite the fan of pie. i guess it's more of a personal thing for me.
