Dean/Elle - Psycho, but Hot
Fandom: Supernatural/Heroes
Title: Psycho, but Hot
Author:
iluvroadrunner6
Rating: FRT
Characters: Dean Winchester/Elle Bishop, Sam Winchester (Sam's POV)
fic_variations Prompt: Heroes and Villains (#1)
Content Warning: Spoilers through 211: Powerless (Heroes).
Summary: It always starts with Dean thinking they're hot.
Author's Note: This is kind of weird, probably because it's mostly from Sam's POV, but I kind of like the way it came out, so I don't know.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Heroes or Supernautral. They're owned by NBC and the CW. However, any and all original characters are mine, so please do not use them without my permission.
Dean thought she was hot.
It was how they got into most situations, Sam was starting to realize—there was a hot girl, and Dean was failing to think with his upstairs brain. However, this probably had to be the strangest episode of thinking with his downstairs brain that the brothers had yet to encounter. Sam thought he’d seen it all—really, he had. Succubi, zombies, women in white—his brother had managed to attract them all, just by acting like a horny teenager, and the situations usually ended with one of them kicking the crap out of Dean, and Sam having to pull a gun on said supernatural entity, and somehow take them out. But this time—he had a feeling it wasn’t going to go quite the same way. Mostly because the girl was human this time around. So that was changing the playing field a bit.
“Look, miss—”
“My name’s Elle.”
“Elle—great name,” Sam said with a small smile, trying to diffuse the situation, but keeping the gun in his hand level. “We don’t mean any harm—just want you to let my brother go.”
Elle, as she was calling herself, currently had Dean by the neck, with a ball of electricity pressed against his neck, while Dean was doing his part to look slightly panicked and like he wasn’t sure that Sam was going to be able to drag him out of this one. And Sam was seeing the determined look on the girl’s face, and he wasn’t even sure he could get them out of this one.
“Oh, the guy holding the gun doesn’t mean any harm,” Elle said, her eyes narrowing slightly. “That’s really reassuring.”
“Oh, and you’re holding an energy ball to my neck, but you’re not gonna kill me at all,” Dean said, glaring back up at her over his shoulder.
“Do you really wanna push me? Because I could finish this right now.”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa,” Sam replied, shaking his head, flashing her his best puppy dog eyes and praying that it would work on her like it usually worked on everyone else. “Look, Elle—I get that my brother can be an ass. In fact, the person he’s an ass to most of the time is usually me. But—he’s all I got. And I can’t lose him.”
“Doesn’t change the fact that you’re still sticking a gun in my face,” Elle replied, giving him a look. “So put the gun down, or your brother finds out what it’s like to be charbroiled.”
“I think she might actually be serious, Sammy,” Dean frowned, as Elle yanked him closer.
“Fine, fine—alright, alright,” Sam shifted the gun in his hand and crouched to put the gun down on the ground. “We’re not looking for anyone to get hurt, okay? We’re the good guys.”
As soon as the gun was on the ground, Elle shook her head and shoved Dean back in the direction of Sam. “No such thing.”
“What’re you talkin’ about, sweetheart?” Dean said, giving her a look. “You don’t even know us.”
“I just know, alright?” she said, raising an eyebrow.
Sam shot his brother a look, before turning back to her. “Look, can we make it up to you?”
The blond turned back to him with an amused look, crossing her arms in front of his chest. “‘Make it up to me’? Think your brother’s done enough damage, Sasquatch.”
Sam rolled his eyes, before shrugging slightly. “We can buy you dinner?”
“Solve things with food?”
“He’s got a thing for a pie,” Sam smirked, and Dean gave his brother a look.
“Hey—a good piece of pie can solve a lot of problems,” Dean smirked, and at that, Elle gave him a skeptical look.
“As tempting as pie with you and your asshole of a brother may be, I think I’ll have to pass,” Elle replied, tossing Dean one last glare before heading on her way. “See you around boys.”
“Dude,” Dean said with a grin as he watched her go. “She hot or what? A little psycho, but dude—seriously.”
“Seriously? Dean—just shut up.”
Five days later, the brothers rescued this particular blond from an Irish ghost with an attitude problem, but that was a whole other story.

I'm probably going to throw Claire into this series eventually, and possibly some Sam/Claire -- I haven't really decided yet.
But I'm glad you liked it.
