“Hey, Flack!” Christina greeted the other man with a smile as she made her way down the hallways of the crimelab. Flack returned the smile as he paused to talk with her.

“Hey, Finn. What’re you doin’ here?” he asked.

“Cabot and I have to go over the evidence for a case, and Danny was the lead CSI,” Christina replied, and Flack made a sympathetic face. “Exactly. I came a little early to give him a heads up.”

“I think I saw him heading towards the breakroom not to long ago,” Flack said, jerking his thumb back towards the room in question.

“Thanks,” she nodded, before heading towards the room. As she walked towards the door, she looked in and saw that Danny was covered in what looked like a green slime. She frowned, and started to open the break room door, and Danny started waving his hands wildly for her to stop.

“Finn, don’t—”

Christina shrieked as a cold sensation landed on her with a loud smack! She was suddenly seeing green, and shuddering at the cold wet feeling that was dripping down her back.

“What the hell was that?” she asked, and Danny grinned before reaching forward and pulling a strand of green goop off her forehead.

“You’ve been slimed,” he replied.

“Slimed?” she frowned, “What?”

“Adam rigged the door to drop slime bombs on whoever comes through the door,” Danny explained, “We are both victims of his little prank here.”

Christina looked down and studied her outfit, now covered in green slime, “He better be prepared to pay for some dry cleaning.”

“Amen to that,” Danny laughed, before tilting his head towards her slightly, “You know, slime doesn’t look that bad on you, Finn.”

“You look quite handsome yourself, Messer,” she grinned, “Green is definitely your color.”

“So what are you doing down here anyway?” he asked.

“I wanted to give you a heads up that Cabot was heading down here to talk to you,” she replied, “And at this point, you and I both may want to change before she gets here.”

Danny looked down, peeling his shirt away from his chest slightly, before rolling his eyes, “Cabot, huh? She’s taking this case.”

“Apparently,” Christina replied, “I’m her second chair though, if that makes you feel any better.”

“A little,” Danny grinned, “You know I’m always happy to see you, Finn.” She blushed slightly, before they heard the crack of the door opening. They both spun around to face the door.

“Wait!” they both shouted at the same time, but they were too late. Standing in the doorway was a slime covered Stella Bonasera and Alexandra Cabot. Cabot looked up, fire in her eyes, and Stella’s look was equally pissed off.

“Who?” Stella asked.

“Adam,” Danny said.

“Adam?” Cabot frowned.

“He’s a tech here,” Stella replied.

“You know where he is?” Cabot asked.

Oh yeah,” Stella nodded, and then both the women left as quickly as they had arrived. Danny and Christina managed to hold it in for a second, before bursting into fits of laughter.

“Maybe—maybe Adam will leave the dry cleaning money in his will,” Christina giggled, and Danny grinned.

“Maybe,” Danny nodded before looking down at her. He paused for a second, before pushing her hair out of her face slightly. “You know—slime really does look good on you, Finn.”

“It does,” she said, before watching as he leaned in to kiss her. She didn’t pull back, just responded slowly, letting him kiss her before they heard the crack of the door opening. They turned and saw it start to swing open and their eyes widened.

“No, don’t!”

I really loved this. It was fun and cute and Danny/Christina is nice. I caught an episode of Conviction on rerun somewhere the other day, it was pretty cool. Do they have a complete series thing out for it yet?
