AUTHOR'S NOTE: Slight crossover between New York and Vegas. Another one of those ideas I’ve been playing with, and decided to experiment in drabble form first.



“Stella!” Danny’s voice bounced around in her head, making it throb harder than it was, and she winced.

“Could you keep it down a little, Danny?” She saw the smug look on the man’s face and she shot him a look, “What?”

“Heard you and Vegas had a pretty good time last night,” he said, the smug grin not leaving his face.

“Really?” Stella continued the frown still on her face, “What did you hear?”

“I heard it was quite the little serenade,” Danny continued, “Bernie claimed that he had never heard such a beautiful drunken rendition of ‘Take Me Out to the Ballgame.’”

Stella breathed a somewhat sigh of relief. Her and Nick belting out that particular song in the middle of Sullivan’s was nothing to be concerned about. Especially when no one knew him and everyone knew her. But when Danny didn’t stop, the relieved look started to change.

“He also said there was a nice seamless transition into ‘I Got You Babe’ however, neither of you seemed to know the words very well, and it just kind of fell apart in the end.”

Danny saw the death glare from between tendrils of her curly hair, before he muttered a quick, ‘I’d take some Tylenol for that hangover’ and leaving. She then pushed her hair out of her face and buried her face in her hands.

What the hell had she gotten herself into?

OH! That was SOOOOO cute! Poor Stella, gotta wonder how hung over Nick was... and how they cope that day (at a scene? at a conference?) with their hang overs, and embarrasment. *GG*

i'm contemplating claiming a general CSI/CSI: Miami/CSI:NY crossover somewhere, and throwing in a whole mess of ships including nick/stella and flack/calleigh. i just want to finish my crazy conviction/csi:ny one first.

i also have a CSI/Las Vegas crossover i've been wanting to do for a while. i'd probably just claim the pairing i want to do over at 7_crossovers and that'll be it, but that'll really be just for me, because there aren't many CSI fans who are also Las Vegas fans. they're completely different shows.

Huh. Strangely enough, I could see that. At least it's not Nick and Mary. I'm just...she bugs me sometimes.

See, for some reason, if we're going far back to LV, I could see shipping Warrick and Nessa. When I thought about doing a crossover between the two shows, that was who I was going to ship.

Warrick/Nessa was definitely something i saw. if she hadn't left the show...*grumbles*

anyway, nick/sam was basically me hearing this great conversation between warrick and mary, oddly enough, in my head about how nick needs some...female companionship...and mary says she knows someone who isn't necessarily going to say no.

and then there's the whole idea that they could probably really piss each other off, but be totally crazy about each other all at the same time.
