Tim/Elliot - Axe Murderers
Fandom: NCIS/Scrubs
Title: Axe Murderers
Author:
iluvroadrunner6
Rating: FRT/PG-13
Characters: Tim McGee/Elliot Reed, mentions of Tony DiNozzo
Content Warning: Vague spoilers if you don't know McGee's an author.
Summary: For a man who was supposedly so good with words, Tim didn't quite know what to say.
Author's Note: Written for
liannis, who started writing McGee/Elliot to begin with, in response to the Song Lyrics Meme. She gave me the lyrics You may be right / I may be crazy / but it just might be a lunatic you're looking for by Billy Joel. I think I upped the crazy on Elliot a bit, but I kinda like this.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of NCIS or Scrubs. They're owned by CBS and NBC. But any and all original characters are mine, so please don't use them without my permission.
For a man who was supposedly so good with words—Tim didn’t quite know what to say.
When Tony had set him up with his “friend,” Elliot, (he later learned that Tony was just shoving a blind date off on him, but that wasn’t anything new) Tim hadn’t been expecting much. Tony usually frequented the world of the blonde bimbettes more than witty conversationalists, so he was surprised when his date turned out to be a pretty doctor, which meant she was not only smart, but a side bonus was the fact that she had read his book. She seemed a bit surprised when he asked if he could see her again, considering all they had done was talk about his book, but that was the point. They had spent the whole time talking about him. Now he wanted to know more about her.
It took some creative scheduling to get them to see each other again, and in that time, Tony tried his best to convince him that Elliot was not the way to go. But Tim didn’t listen, never really putting much heed to what Tony said. Second and third dates went off without a hitch, but it was at the end of the third date, as he was walking her to her door, that things started to go haywire.
All Tim asked was if he could come in, and he watched as Elliot went into a full—tirade didn’t quite seem to be the right word, but it was all that was coming to mind—about how he was going to wind up running because she was crazy. She was a loon. She would unleash an entire bucket of crazy on him and he would head for the hills. She then started talking so quickly that he wasn’t sure he could make out what she was saying, only some random point about how she would probably wind up being an axe murderer in his next book. He waited until she finished before watching her for a minute. Elliot froze for a minute, before speaking up again.
“Well?” she frowned, “Say something.” The look on her face told him that she was already scared that she had reached axe murderer status already, and he gave her a soft smile.
“Elliot—I don’t really care,” he sighed, “I’m kinda used to crazy.”
Elliot’s face brightened instantly, and she leaned in and gave him a warm kiss. “That’s the sweetest thing I’ve ever heard.” Tim just returned the smile before letting her drag him into her apartment
What have I gotten myself into.

I like this. It's an interesting alternate look on the Tim/Elliot relationship.
In fact, feel free to keep going if you'd like ;) Tim/Elliot needs more fangirls!

I'd be interested to hear what Tony found out about Elliot that changed his mind. *snicker*
Maybe Jeanne really works at Sacred Heart..

I've never written fan fiction before, but you two are seriously making me want to try my hand at it.
