I'm a bit behind on my show recaps. So you get them all at once. Spoilers are a given.

Chuck:

OK, so--I watched the pilot, (Adam Baldwin is love.) and found it kind of interesting, but I wasn't really thrilled with it. So I didn't really tune in, but when more people started talking about it, I figured I'd give it another shot.

What really won me over was the beginning of the second epsiode, with Chuck chasing down Casey chasing down a shoplifter. That was pretty freakin' awesome.

That being said, I adore Chuck, Casey, Ellie and Captain Awesome. Morgan can be a bit annoying, but generally he's alright. Sarah actually kind of bugs me. It may just be the actress--but yeah--she grates a nerve. Otherwise, I really love the situations Chuck manages to get himself into. They're a lot of fun to watch.

Reaper:

This show is just hysterical. I won't watch it in it's normal timeslot--because House is still better, but this show is just a lot of fun. I love Sock, and Sam, and Andie (Missy Peregrym! *draws hearts*). This is the kind of show you watch when you're just looking for a bit of fun, and I love how they just use all this stuff from the Work Bench to protect themselves against the escaped souls, and they just look absolutely ridiculous.

Private Practice:

I love Addison. Which is really great because it's really hard for me to like a female character nowadays. But Addison is awesome. (She always has been really.) Also? I love and adore Violet; (Amy Brenneman! *draws hearts*) And Violet/Cooper. They're absolutely adorable.

I don't get Addison/Pete though. I think they aggravate each other too much for it to really work. I have to say, I really didn't think much of Pete until last week's episode where he started talking about his wife. That gave him so much more depth, and I started to like him a lot more.

I'm definitely an Addison/Sam girl though. Ever since the first time she bopped him on the head in that Grey's episode last year. But then again, I like Sam/Naomi too. So I could go either way.

And I could go for Naomi/Dell too. I love the crush he has on her. So cute.

Supernatural:

- Ben was adorable. Seriously. (And someone over at TM has picked him up as a muse! I find that incredibly awesome.)

- I liked Lisa. I did.

- Ruby Theory! (No spoilers): I think Ruby might have been charged by the YED to protect Sam. I mean, considering she is a demon, and instead of running him into the ground like most demons are prepared to do, she's saving him? Either that, or--since the YED is pretty much dead, she was placed in charge by someone higher? Maybe?

- I kind of loved Ruby's thing with the french fries. She's definitely growing on me.

- And yeah, I definitely ship Ruby/Sam(Evil!Sam).

Heroes:

- Dude, tell us what Angela's power is already? Pretty please? And don't kill her off? Please?

- Aww, Nathan misses his Peter. *pets* I actually really liked Nathan a lot in this episode. And I love how Matt was trying to connect with him, and Nathan kept shutting him down. But dude, what is with the reflection in the mirror.

- Still no West love. Seriously.

- Matt broke Molly! I mean, I feel bad about him and his dad, but he shouldn't have guilted her into things like that. No matter how desperately he needed to find him. And that kind of sucks about how his wife's kid isn't his.

- I wonder in the eventual Twins vs. Sylar death match, who's going to come out on top. Because I'm beginning to think that Maya can take him. I actually kind of like the twins--I want to know more about them.

- No Hiro this week. *is sad*

CSI:NY:

- ANGELL!!!! ADAM!!! DANNY/ANGELL!!! YAY!

- I'm so glad the death by orgasm case went to Danny and Stella. Those two definitely seemed like they were having fun with the case.

- Flack has a brother. Who insults him. And his mother makes corned beef. I can work with a brother. That I can do. But the thing I'd like to know is--older or younger? What does he do? That kind of thing.

- The time travel case was weird. I love how Hawkes was such a geek over this case, though. It was really cute. Although, in a sense, even though Browning didn't physically kill the second vic, by building the time machine, in a sense he did kill him. Interesting.

- Aww--no more Peyton makes me sad. And poor Mac--this makes what he said to Stella sting even more.

- And I do not like the fact that Mac tried to convince Stella to go out with Drew. I'm sorry--Drew is skeevey. Stella should stick with her instincts and kick him to the curb.

That's about it.

I'm behind on CSI: Miami and Numb3rs. I think I'm gonna catch up on Numb3rs tonight and maybe Miami tomorrow. I dunno.

interesting theory on Ruby. aside from my whole avatar-for-good theory i posted back in my Mag7 post i got nothing.

and Ben was cool too. i think Lisa totally lied.

[identity profile] iluvroadrunner6.livejournal.com 2007-10-18 07:13 pm (UTC)(link)
So do I.

But I think it's better that she lied, in a way. Because I don't think that--while Dean would have been a good father--the position he's in right now isn't a great time to become one. I really like the idea of Dean as Ben's fatherly figure, though. It's really sweet.

[identity profile] trystan830.livejournal.com 2007-10-18 07:16 pm (UTC)(link)
oh no - he's not in any position to be a dad right now.

but i also read a review that suggested she didn't lie, because she asked him to stay. if he did stay, it would present more chances for her to slip up. dunno. now i don't know which to believe.

hey, are you up for some LJ Karaoke (http://trystan830.livejournal.com/540735.html) over at my LJ? *hee*

Maybe she doesn't really know who the father is, and she just told him that it wasn't him to ease his conscience? I mean, Dean's walking around with a lot on his shoulders nowadays, and maybe she saw that and didn't want to burden him more by telling him that Ben could possibly be his. Maybe. I dunno.

Hee--maybe. I have to get some hw done, but I might give it a shot.

[identity profile] trystan830.livejournal.com 2007-10-18 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
yeah, i could see that too.... i dunno either.....

cool!!

Am loooving Private Practice. Pretty much agree with all that you said on it. Coop and the boy with the crush..so sweet.

Hero's- Angela is the cousin yes? If so, yea, I'm loving that story line. I want to see them more. Whatshisname is so sweet and it's great that he's with his cousins. And...the fact that she can basically see something on tv and do it? Wow. I wonder if her little brother has a power?

[identity profile] iluvroadrunner6.livejournal.com 2007-10-18 07:14 pm (UTC)(link)
Angela is the cousin yes?

No--Angela is Mama Petrelli.

Oh! I forgot to comment on the cousins. I'll have to go back and add that in.

YAY FOR ME TOO!! ^_^

They'll probably never tell us, unfortunately. The insult thing sounds like something an older brother would do, but not necessarily. Don has the 'Jr' name, so maybe it's a younger brother. Maybe the brother insulted him for following in Dad's footsteps or something. Or maybe...

Yeah, too many possibilities. *lol* Still, it's nice to get a hint about his family--maybe we'll get more.

I love geeky!Hawkes, I really do. He's adorable. ^_^

And lame. 'Could you fall for me' or whatever? *chuckle*

Well--just because Flack is the Jr, doesn't necessarily mean he's the oldest. I've met families where the oldest son was named differently from the father and a younger son was the Jr. Regardless, I'm probably going to wind up writing the incarnation that's threatening to sit in my head, where he's the bad boy, and Flack's always got to bail him out of trouble.

Maybe by insults, he's commenting on how Flack always has to be the good kid?
