i was chatting with a mutual flackOC writer this...afternoon, i think...and i realized as she was tearing my character apart, that eva is much more like maureen than i ever intended her to be. true, she's has issues that would have never even crossed maureen's mind, but diva!drama!queen and almost completely narcissitic she is.

which, in conclusion, eva, like maureen, is just one of those characters when you either love her or you hate her, and hence, this piece.

Yee! Yay, Bitter!Flack! This, to me, is more realistic-and more satisfying-than his passive acceptance of her treatment, but it's also very sad to see him admit that what started as love has soured into something else.

yeah. they started out as really happy in the beginning when they started. i never intended to make her as maureen-like as she was or is (depending on when you're reading) and then they got issues and flack blew up and things feel to pieces.

...the thing i think with them though, is that he couldn't see how shitty what she did to him really was until he was free enough of her to really see their relationship, ya know?

or at least that's how i'm gonna spin it.

Now this coming from Lindsay was hard to swallow (no pun intended) at first, but as I read it? It made much more sense. Good job here.

thank you. i know, but it was hard to find someone who interacted with eva, that wasn't dead (aiden) who might not have liked her relationship with flack so much. lindsay was the only logical solution, and then they just started arguing with each other and somehow this happened.

so basically, i'm glad it worked.
