For a second there, I thought it was going to be all canon characters. I got excited. Putting Mullvaney in the fourth moment was sneaky of you. But I guess you favor writing with OCs, not canon characters that much; look at all the ones you've claimed and written into your fic.

That aside, I really like how you had Flack calling Maka "ma'am" quite a bit and pretty much had him paying all the time. You can just tell that Maka has Flack wrapped around her finger.

When I first started writing it, I didn't plan on using any OCs, but Mullvaney just kind of slipped his way in there.

She really does. In fact, she probably has most of the homicide detectives she works with wrapped around her finger, just because they want to avoid pissing her off.
