OK, first of all--Samantha Smith and Josh Duhamel (Captain Lennox) would be absolutely gorgeous together. Just saying. And they would make a gorgeous baby. I just wish there had been more of Samantha, because I wasn't even sure it was her until I saw her in the credits.

On more Josh-related notes (OK, aside from the amazingly cool looking CGI robots, Josh is the main reason I saw this movie.), Josh + gun = hot. Josh + big freakin' gun = really hot. (I'm easy OK. The guns kinda do it for me.) Josh pulling gun on annoying sector 7 man? Caused me to giggle rather loudly at a point where I really shouldn't be giggling.

Mikaela--seemed like a waste of space. I think Sam (Shia LaBeouf, who was awesome, btw) might have had a better love interest in the Maggie (the Aussie hacker chick). But that's just me. Sam was awesome. But my real love wasn't with the people (aside from Josh, of course), it was with the robots.

Oh, Bumblebee! I has such a crush on him by the end of the movie. He made me smile, he really did. And Optimus Prime, and Jazz (oh, Jazz--poor, poor Jazz). And they just looked really awesome.

Visually, the movie was amazingly well done, and so very entertaining. Yeah, the script wasn't of Oscar proportions, but it flowed well, and while it was a bit corny--I don't really think it couldn't have been. It worked for where it was.

I *loved* that movie. Loved, loved, loved it. The robots were amazing and I was also in love with Bumblebee by the end. I really liked the way that they used Bumblebee to communicate: Message from Starfleet, Captain! Awesome. I want to go see it again!

I agree with all of your points above... but want to add, Josh racing a motorcycle up and sliding it under a cool looking robot = awesome!

I have a little crush on Capt. Will Lennox. They better make those sequels that they are rumored to be contracted for. I want more, more, more!
