heeheehee...no. definitely because i liked it.

Well, Jamie is my favorite past ADA from the show...she was only on for two years, but I think that she was different than the others for many reason. While she shared a similar kick-ass attitude with Abbie Carmichael, they were on totally different ends of the political spectrum (oooh for a very good example of this, see the episode School Daze which is when Jamie returns after leaving the DA's office for a guest appearance against McCoy and Carmichael in the courtroom...so good and there's a mild bitchfight...hee hee) Also different is that while the other ADAs came into the office young and relatively inexperienced, Jamie was older, had already had between seven to ten years of defense law under her belt, had a young child and had just finished a divorce. She already knew where she was going in the courtroom, and there was this great tension between her and McCoy, especially since she was the one who replaced the late Claire Kincaid. The Jack-Jamie dynamic is another reason I love her...

But specifically why I chose to play her? Well, it started with me npc'ing her for the first trial we ever did at SIU. Then Alan Shore got hit in the head by one of the perps who was still on the loose--it was right when he'd just come to NYC, before really knowing anyone, so, for whatever reason, we had Jamie let Alan stay at her home, since she was the judge and he was one of her lawyers and the trial was a dangerous one and she felt responsible...Well, it was obviously strictly professional w/ Alan and Jamie (seriously lol) but when I started to, during the rp, describe the interior of her home, it got me thinking more about her as a character and why I made the home the way I did--big, ornate, and rather empty or lonely feeling--and I wanted to explore that and had started to get attached to Jamie....so yeah....short answer, Jamie's kickass...er, long answer...*points to rambly comment*

i should find more jamie episodes--or catch them when they're on tnt. i saw a few over break, and i liked her quite a bit.

*points at icon* Claire Simms. She's my other favorite because she doesn't take anyone's crap, and has that slightly exaggerated NY Attitude that I love.

I remember why Alan stayed at Jamie's...Cassie wanted him to freak out and have a night terror. Jamie charged into her guest bedroom with a bat.

i remember the episode where she and alan were walking down the streets of boston and she had a yankees hat on. i loved that.

and it's absolutely freezing. it went from being about sixty to twenty in the course of a week. i'm not amused.

Right now I am wearing several layers. Long-sleeved shirt, sweatshirt, thermal socks, slippers, sweatpants, and a hat. I can't wear gloves because then my typing would look like crap. I can't wait for bed, though. Yeah. Three heavy blankets, along with a heated one. I am amazing, no?

I was in my first musical when I was in 2nd grade. I played Dorothy in our production of "The Wizard of Oz." Ever since then, I have been hooked. My next show wasn't until 9th grade, when I was in "Bye Bye Birdie" at my high school. Then I was cast as Mama Rose in my high school's spring production of "Gypsy" when I was in the 12th grade. I love to sing, and I think musical theater is one of the most beautiful things in the world. They're powerful, and they make me feel amazing. I feel drawn to musical theater. It's what I want to do.

5.) You know, I always get a kick out of the "what fruit/vegetable do i relate to you?" questions, because deep down, I cry when people always say banana for me. "Because they're so bright and you're so happy," they say. BUT IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE.

6.) I think I'd have to choose Colby/Megan, to be honest. While I do love Flack/Lindsay to absolute death (and maybe even beyond) I think everyone knows how badly TPTB screw up relationships on the CSI: shows. I really wouldn't want my OTP to be ruined for me, you know? In that case, I'd really like it to just be kept in fanfiction where I can write everything much better than TPTB can. The relationships are handled very well on Numb3rs, storylines are written nicely...and no very large plotholes or "wtf happened here, what about Louie?" The writing staff of Numb3rs actually continues storylines, thank you very much. *bows down to them* Thank Zeus for that.

And, yes. *nods* That's how I feel.

Bananas don't make me think of bright and happy either. They lead me to thoughts where bright and happy are effects.

And Flack/Lindsay interaction for more than two seconds? I would probably wet myself. They probably worked maybe three cases together in S2, and had less than ten minutes total of screentime altogether. Bummer. But in S3, they've had way more time together, which I like. Plus as a shipper, you can read a lot into what's going on in their glances and body language. Of course if you're ~~obsessed~~ enthusiastic like I am, Flack lifting up crime scene tape for Lindsay is a sign of a relationship. (Has he ever lifted it up for anyone else at any other crime scene? Ever? I don't think so...)

Since Colby has a blatant crush on Megan, and Larry is currently off planet, maybe something will happen. But I don't picture Megan as the type to cheat. Maybe Larry will blow up. I might cry.
