1. Flack has an incredible amount of respect for women. He was mostly raised by his grandmother, and she taught him how to cook, how to treat other women, and beat the urge to swear out of him. He wouldn't be half the gentleman he is without her.
2. As much as he says that he joined the force because he was good at it, he joined because he wanted to be like his dad.
3. He may not have verbally threatened to beat up Samantha's prom date but there is no doubt in my mind that he spent the moment when he came to pick her up looming in the background.
4. He's a Classic Who buff. New Who doesn't really do it for him, but he used to watch the old black and white episodes when they were on TV. He also has a comic book collection that he keeps in pretty decent condition.
5. Danny and Flack still play basketball every Saturday. It's just that sometimes Danny has a second man on the team.
1. He misses cage fighting. It was an easy way to make money and a good way to let some aggression out. If doing it didn't mean getting shot to death by the NSA he totally would have stuck with it longer.
2. Even if he doesn't understand paternal relationships, he seeks them anyway. He's always looking for approval from an older authority figure (essentially a Lydecker replacement). In Babylon Wood, it was Peter Burke and Karrin Murphy. In Teleios, it's looking like Helen Magnus and Peter Hale which is both hysterical and vaguely terrifying.
3. He's much more cat like than he probably should be. Given that he was raised in Manticore longer than Max he's much more comfortable with that part of himself, and some of his behavior can be downright feline, and he doesn't always realize he's doing it.
4. He actually likes Normal. Not that you'll ever hear him admit it.
5. As much as he can act like an immature brat, when it comes to the things that matter, he's always ready to snap-to if he needs to. He just likes to relax every once in a while. And someday he will realize the correlation between relaxing and him getting into trouble.
1. In 1864, Stefan had a crush on Emily Bennett. I don't think he understood it, nor would he have known what to do with it, but his obsession with Bennett witches had to start somewhere.
2. His blood addiction is 100% psychological and the sooner he owns up to that the better off he will be. I'm not saying he doesn't have bloodlust because vampire, obviously, but the out of control extremes he goes to isn't because he needs to, it's because he thinks he needs to.
3. His true feelings regarding Klaus and Rebekah are a million times more complicated than they make them out to be in canon, but they could never acknowledge that because that would take up valuable triangle screentime.
4. If Damon died, Mystic Falls would cease to exist because Stefan would destroy it in a murderous rage, regardless of his feelings for his brother at the time.
5. He loves the idea of Elena/the person he can be with Elena more than he does Elena herself.
1. Rory's never had a girlfriend. He may have gone on dates or had girls that he saw a few times, but in the end it's always been Amy.
2. He really likes to learn things. It isn't just medical things, he likes to figure them out and understand them so that he knows what's really going on. Amy gets caught up in the wonder of it all, but Rory enjoys more the understanding.
3. He doesn't mind being the straight man. Keeping everyone grounded gives him a purpose.
4. He doesn't try to be paternal at River. He just winds up doing it anyway without even realizing it.
5. Rory loves Amy. Not headcanon, I know, but it's worth saying.
