first of all, i must thank

venetia_sassy for the lovely pile of presents she left on my profile. and for the paid lj time she got me for Christmas ~~which i should have thanked her for earlier~~.

second of all, for the CSI authors on my flist...i was wondering if anyone would be interested in a Last Author Standing for the CSIverse. They have one for the House fandom (

house_las for those who are interested), and i'm not sure if i'd want to moderate, because i'd want to write and i don't think that's quite...ethical, nor am i sure quite exactly how it works (round 1 doesn't start until 1/15) but i just want to see if there's interest.

You know, I'd be game for something like that, but like you, I'd want to participate. Maybe we can find a non-writer to rope into moderating the community...

that'd work...i have someone else who's interested in moderating, but she doesn't know CSI that well. we'd have some balance that way. yay! for another volunteer.

I wouldn't mind taking part...if I was a consistent writer who isn't constantly interrupted with Real-Life issues.

house_las they allow you to skip up to three rounds. i would probably do the same because RL issues can't be avoided, ya know? being unflexible about something like that is just simple asshattery.

well, i don't know exactly how this works yet. the first round hasn't started. i'll probably be more informed after it does.
