It's Angell.

According to the casting call from SpoilerTV, they're looking for someone to play Angell's father.

Setting aside the fact that I'm annoyed that we get Angell's dad when we're killing her off, but we don't get Flack's parents when he gets blown up or Aiden's father when she was killed, can I say I knew it? I should have figured that they wouldn't axe a regular, and I'm glad that my gut was wrong and that it wasn't Flack.

I'm also really pissed off though. All that great stuff with Flack and Angell this season, and you end it like that? Danny and Lindsay get the baby and the happily ever after, but Flack and Angell, a couple that TPTB actually managed to do right for a change, get the tragic ending.

Perfect. Really. Thanks a lot. I really hope that I'm reading into this wrong and Angell's dad is there for some other reason with potential for awesome.

I'm gonna go sulk now.

And what makes it even worse, is that I love Emmanuelle. She finally got a part where she didn't have to be evil all the time, and they axe her.

Granted, she gets axed in most of her parts, but still. Angell was awesome. *kicks TPTB*

Yeah, I get that. I knew as soon as I heard the death spoilers, it was either going to be Flack or Angell. I mean, how could it not be? They weren't going to kill off Mac, Stella or Lindsay (especially pregnant, lol.) Ugh.

Like, I understand sometimes (like in the case of Warrick?) that it was necessary. But this just doesn't scream necessary to me.

Flack/angell was one of the few reason to keep watching. What with the way they have ruined Danny. I am still holding out hope that maybe Lindsey dies in childbirth, leaving Danny to raise the baby on his own.

Hopefully it won't be her. We've been speculating over on TalkCSI and hoping they're bringing her dad in for something else - kidnapping maybe? They wanted this death to be a secret so it seems strange that they'd publicly search for an actor to play her father. I'm convinced it's someone else, Lindsay, and I'm sticking to that until I hear for sure it's Jess.

Also, DL won't be getting a 'happily ever after'. It's too early for that and Peter Lenkov, whose word is pretty good, said they wouldn't have a flowery ending.

I just started shipping Don/Jess in RP (just got them married) and I am not happy about this possibility. T_T
