Major CSI:NY Spoilers, and they're not happy ones either.

They're killing someone off CSI:NY in the season finale.

NO.

Okay, I know I'm the person that writes all the character death and whatever, and that I've killed Flack and Dean more times than I can count, but that doesn't mean I actually want someone to die on the show. And this isn't Supernatural, okay? Once they're dead, they're really dead, as in irrevocably dead, and yeah -- I could probably fix it in RP, but seriously.

Is it always necessary to kill someone? Is it? What is it with you, show, that you can't just let someone go if they want to leave? Sara and Grissom did it -- why can't whoever's leaving here? Serious injury, okay. Death, not so much. Not cool, show. Not cool.




Logic is telling me that it's Angell, but I have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that it's going to be Flack. And frankly, I'm not fond of either option.

I will reserve judgement for now. For now. If it's Flack, or even Angell, I will have to seriously reconsider watching this season (I have it on my DVR for later). Maybe it will be Lindsey?

I hate when they feel they have to kill off someone. Just like the recent pairing-up on every freaking show. Do Not Want! Not on the TV, they always screw it up and get it wrong.

I'm not sure it's Flack, 'cause it's popular with fans, same as Danny. (Yes, I love them both.) Maybe one of the others. I'll reverse judgement, too, until I see this episode. :/

I'm crossing my fingers that it's not Sid or Adam. I mean, they just got promoted to official cast members! NY just wouldn't be the same without Sid's creepy place or Adam's...Adam-ness.

I love them all personally, but I do know that if it's Flack? I'm done. Flack was probably the one thing that kept me watching the show.

Well, according to the spoilers, the guy's a serial cop killer. So I think that eliminates Sid and Adam automatically.

Though I agree, I would be very upset if either of them kicked the bucket early.

Well, I could probably live without Angell? But if they kill Flack, I'm done. He's the one thing that's keeping me watching this show right now.

Maybe Lindsay? But I think Anna's still going to be on maternity leave. So who knows. I think that's a really crappy way to kill her off, though, especially after everything they've been doing with her and Danny.

I don't know if you've seen the first CSI lately, and neither have I or most of the people I talk to. I don't think it's doing so hot. You know why? Cause they got rid of people. They messed up the chemistry. Remember how you already killed Aiden? Yeah. No need for more death.

I love Angell and I don't want her to go, especially since everyone higher up on the show was hinting they wanted to make Emmanuelle a regular. If she dies I may not make it a point to watch every week.

It's about time CSI: NY did something insanely drastic. The other two franchises have, I mean, I'm pretty sure it won't be anybody major. Since they worked Anna Belknap's pregnancy into the storyline, I think Lindsay's safe... I think it's going to be Flack, too, for some reason. Ugh. That sucks. I actually like everyone on the CSI: NY cast.

Same here. Killing off Flack would be so not cool. And now that I'm thinking about it? I keep seeing it in my head. It's not fun.

I -- personally can't stand Jate, actually. I much preferred Sawyer/Kate.

If someone wants to leave the show, I support them 100% - and there are several people I love from NY that I never would have known about otherwise, and I'd probably follow them to whatever else they choose to do.

But I don't want anybody to die. It's so final and...I dunno, it's obviously about the hype and the ratings. (Otherwise why announce it 2 1/2 months before it actually happens?) Even though I don't like Lindsay, for example, I would rather see her leave the show without dying.

Everybody's trying to figure out who it's going to be, and I'm just worried that it's going to really ruin the show. It's not the strongest show ratings-wise, and I'm not sure this will help the show in any way. It will likely just cause the show to lose the fans of whoever kicks the bucket. I think this will be especially damaging if it's Flack - he's kind of the unsung hero of the show, and while he doesn't get all of the attention, when it comes down to it, he's the favorite character for a lot of people.

I will likely still watch the show if someone I like dies, even if only to keep up with what's going on, but I doubt I'll be as big of a fan if that's the case.

Oh God, I can't imagine losing anyone on the show! D: I have a feeling it may be Hawkes or Flack though. :(

Yeah. I'll write death over and over in a fic because I know it's not real. It really happening on the show? Very not cool.

I've really become very disinterested this season -- the cases are starting to bore me, and all the D/L stuff just makes me want to go bleh. If someone I really love gets killed off (i.e. Flack, Hawkes, Angell), I may start watching less as well.

TBH I just started watching CSI again this season after about a two year hiatus. Maybe I'm in the minority, but I think the writing lately has been fantastic.
