Heroes Spoilers
I had to watch this one twice because I was only half-watching the first time? But there were a couple things that I really paid attention to because they struck me as a little weird -- and I want to write them down before I forget.
- Elle and Sylar (or should I say Elle/Sylar): When I first watched last night? I thought Elle was acting a little weird, and maybe going back to her old self? But when I watched it again, I noticed that she started acting weird when Sylar mentioned that he was trying to prove himself to someone. She doesn't want Sylar to turn out like her. She's trying to show him that he needs to be his own man, and not waste his life trying to prove himself to a father who may or may not care either way. So basically,
I think it kind of got to her, though, when he said she wouldn't understand why he was trying to prove himself to someone, because she totally gets it. She knows exactly what he's feeling, and the fact that he thinks she doesn't kind of puts her off a bit. All things considered though -- I'm kind of in love with the ship. And I usually don't really do canon shipping.
- Claire: ....I don't think Claire's the catalyst and they're all freaking out over her for nothing. To me, having Claire be the catalyst doesn't make any sense. I mean, okay -- I get that they could have hidden the catalyst elsewhere before they got a hold of Claire, but really? According to canon, they were using the formula on Nathan. I don't know how long ago they broke up the formula and everything, but why would they wait for Claire to hide the catalyst away? I think it's someone else, and everyone's barking up the wrong tree -- but that's just me.
- The Eclipse (and probably the biggest reason why I needed to watch this twice): ..........uhhhhh -- huh? They all had their abilities before the Eclipse hit the first time. Now, I could understand it causing a temporary black out of the abilities, but Claire was healing herself, and Nathan was flying, and Elle was electrocuting things long before the Eclipse happened. So I'm not really catching the relevance here. But okay. I think.
And onto the non-thinky things:
- Daphne is from Lawrence. Heroes and Supernatural really need to stop being the same show in my brain.
- I still love Matt/Daphne, even though I think Matt dropped the L word a liiiiiittle too soon.
- Ten year-old!Hiro is LOVE. Especially with Matt's spirit turtle.
- Angela Petrelli is so incredibly awesome. And I really wish she had locked Claire up, because clearly leaving her with Noah was a stupid decision. And I love how she's as sick of Claire's whining as I am.
- SETH GREEN!!!!!
- The Nathan Peter fight? I was so on Team Nathan, regardless of Peter's point about how Nathan kind of gets played for a puppet. Regardless -- Peter does a lot of stupid shit and Nathan's always there to bail him out.
- ...I can't think of anything else ridiculously relevant. I may come back.

"Do you want to be Daddy's Hero? Or my Bad Boy... it's your call, but you gotta pick for yourself."
Plus the line that "We can take whatever we want?" Rings very true to the FaithLehane Syndrome. She with the Power is Above the law, and it resounds when they lose their powers and she's faced with that she can't just take what she wants. Which her new Bad Boy disproves to her.
I love it.
And Claire? We all know why she's stupid now! She's related to Flint. Though I'm with you on the Not-Cataylst-ness of her. My vote is still Ando.

As for Claire -- yes. Clearly she got more of Flint's genes then her mother would have liked. Ando would be an interesting pick for the catalyst. He seems to be one of the few sane ones this season.

Yeah, no they really aren't trying to merge the two. Not at ALL.

I'm so sick of Claire. Her dad called her a brat and it totally hit the mark. If her dad, who is probably going to cut a bitch, calls her a whiny brat? You know you're a brat. but yeah, I'm getting sick of Claire.
Seth Green in this episode was amazing. I was so excited to see him. I hope he's in the next episode too.
I agree with you on Matt telling Daphne he loved her. Too soon. His feelings from the spirit walk must have continued in the real world. But Daphne? Poor Daphne, I just wanted to hung her.
Elle/Adam will always be my OTP for this show, but I'm am liking the Sylar/Elle. The scene in the rental care shop when she told him he was a kidnapping serial killer? priceless.

And I am so writing fic with wee!wee!Dean and wee!wee!Daphne. You know they were all kinds of adorable together.
I was done with Claire a long time ago. I only still write her because I can make her less whiney and more awesome in fic. *nodnod*

...Then again -- my head is pretty much panfandom, so who knows.
