Dean/Elle - Regrets
Fandom: Heroes/Supernatural
Title: Regrets
Author:
iluvroadrunner6
Rating: FRT
Characters: Dean Winchester/Elle Bishop
spn_het_love Challenge: A Study in 275 Words
Content Warning: N/A
Summary: She knew he was short on time, and she knew he was probably only good for a one night stand in the back of that damn car, but for some reason, that didn’t really make much of a difference.
Author's Note: I may or may not have claimed these two for
fic_variations for next month. And this is somewhat vague, and I'm still trying to get the feel of them, but I like it. Also, sticking to only 275 words is hard.
Disclaimer: I do not own the characters of Heroes or Supernatural. They're owned by NBC and the CW. However, any and all original characters are mine, so please do not use them without my permission.
She knew he was short on time, and she knew he was probably only good for a one night stand in the back of that damn car, but for some reason, that didn’t really make much of a difference. There was something about the way he carried himself—the easy charm and the devil may care attitude that reminded her of someone she used to know. Someone she cared deeply—or at least as deeply as puppy love could go—once upon a time. And where he had polished edges, Dean was more rough and worn, but it worked for him. And it worked for her as well.
She wasn’t even really sure about how they had gotten here. Well, no she was actually pretty damn sure about how she had wound up pinned between him and the leather of the Impala seat—but she wasn’t sure what had made her say yes. But just looking at him, she knew she was going to regret it if she didn’t. And Elle had enough regrets in her life already to add him in as one more.
So when he didn’t seem to care about her strong tendency to give him a static shock, she knew that there was a chance she was going to get hurt in a big way if she let him to go through with this, but there was also something about him that made her not really care so much about that. So what, he was checking out in a few months? He was alive and well, warm and strong against her right about now, and that was really all she needed.
