OC Backstory - Anna Scherlacker
And here's the other one. Her's actually turned out a lot longer, because Anna's a lot more complicated than Jenny is. But complicated works for her.

Actual Person: Rachel Bilson, Actress
Age: 25
Parent: unknown, adopted by Alan and Nora Scherlacker
Siblings: unknown, adopted brother George
Not much is known about Anna’s life before she was adopted by Alan and Nora Scherlacker at the age of four. She grew up having a relatively normal childhood, with nothing majorly out of the ordinary, with the exception of being extremely hyperactive during lightning storms. That is until a family friend tried to sexually assault her when she was fourteen. When he touched her, her body responded by shocking him into a mild heart attack to protect her. Alan and Nora, not believing her side of the story and not sure how to handle her abilities, kicked her out of the house, and she was forced to find her way on her own. She found her way to what seemed, on first impression, like a boarding house, and went offer her services as a housekeeper in exchange for room and board.
Maura “Mama” Shea took the girl in, and managed to get her to tell her story. Upon finding out that she had abilities, she managed to convince Seth Hawthorne and Roxanne Templand to train the girl to use her abilities and help her become a hunter. Anna’s abilities lie in the realm of electricity. Her energy level is directly tied to level of electricity in the air around her. For example, in a well lit room, she could be active, alert, etc, while in a more poorly lit room, she’d be more sluggish and slow. She can also bounce off the energy of the people around her, and can pick up on odd energies the way a psychic would, but she can never pick up on what it is. She can manipulate electricity to an extent, but only enough to shock in self defense or mess with a computer, never really anything more than that.
Of the other boarders, she’s extremely close to Noah Walker and Gina Ranghetti. Anna can be a bit flighty and unreliable, but they both know that that’s only an act to get people to underestimate her. When it comes to her job, she is all business, and is one of the most reliable people in the field. Roxanne and Seth aren’t really fans of her at all, but they will acknowledge that she’s a good hunter. She’s also very close with Gary Shea, Mama’s son, but that’s more through their love of music than anything else.
Because of her experiences as a early teen, she’s not very big on romantic relationships. Although she’ll never admit it, she’s kind of given up on the idea of love, and would rather just use sex to get what she wants. She’s very careful about who she sleeps with, but it’s usually because it’ll get her something. When she finished high school, Roxanne insisted that she go off to school somewhere (mostly to get her out of the woman’s hair for the majority of four years) and being a dancer, decided to major in dance at a small arts school in Boston, that happened to be close to MIT. And MIT happened to have a supercomputer, which she refers to as “like being hot wired to a nuclear power plant.” She made a friend with one of the students, who had access, and they wound up sleeping together, but she made it perfectly clear to him that she was only using him for his computer.
Anna’s a compulsive gum chewer. She’s rarely ever seen without it, and she claims it helps her think. She’s probably the one in the family who straddles the line between good and evil the most, because she suffers a massive guilt complex over what happened to her when she was fourteen. She understands that she was defending herself, and while she didn’t kill him, years later she found out that what happened irreversibly damaged his heart rhythms, and he spent the rest of his life in a hospice kind of situation. She doesn’t feel like she had the right to defend herself in that way, even though that may have been the only way she could have. She doesn’t talk about the problems either, just buries them with intentions of dealing with them later but never doing so.
Other OCs Associated with Anna:
Jenny Templand - Another OC I developed more here.
Noah Walker - Telepath; Noah doesn't usually go into the field much. He's not really a fighter, but can defend himself if necessary. Noah is probably the one that understands Anna the most, because she lets him poke around in her head, however she still refuses to talk about the problem, so she’s not sure that helps her.
Gina Ranghetti - Gina and Anna are on the fence about what they are to each other, but they get along well enough. Anna’s probably the one person Gina won’t pick a fight with, because she’s the one person she has the hardest time pinning, and doesn’t know how she’ll react.
