Characters: Nick Stokes/Catherine Willows
Content Warning: Light bondage, but I don't really go into detail. It's more implied.
Summary: Nick surprises Catherine before she leaves for work.
Author's Note: Written fortinga13 in response to the Five Pairings Meme. I wrote her request for Catherine and she picked the one with Nick as her favorite. I liked the way this came out actually. I'm kinda happy with it.

It had been a very long day.
Their huge case they had been working on had finally gotten a break and they were scrambling around trying to pull everything together to confront the suspect. Then they had to track the guy down. Then they had to question him till he caved. But they did, and he did, and now she was looking forward to going home, taking a nice long soak in the tub, and get a decent night’s sleep before she had to come back in and do the paperwork tomorrow.
Nick had been working on a new case all day, and she had barely seen him. If she hadn’t been so focused on her own case, she might have been a bit upset, but she had been going on all cylinders all day. It would be a bit of a bonus to have seen him a bit more, but you can’t have it all, apparently.
She started to get her things out of her locker, and get herself ready to head home. She heard footsteps come into the room, and smiled slightly, recognizing the gait as one she knew very well. Catherine felt Nick come up behind her in the locker room, and glanced around to make sure no one was watching before she responded.
“Can I help you, Nicky?”
“Doing anything after shift?” he asked, and she smiled.
“Absolutely nothing,” she sighed happily, “Lindsey is at sleepaway camp and I have no other plans.”
“Mind making some?” Nick asked, and she gave him a curious look over her shoulder.
“What do you have in mind?”
“Well, I just happened to find something in my locker over there that I think we could have a little fun with.”
“Really?” she smirked, “And what’s that?” He held up his fingers, and she could see the steel handcuffs dangling from them. Her eyebrows rose slightly.
“Thought you might find those interesting,” he said.
“Who’s the one getting tied up?” she asked, crossing her arms across her chest.
“I was thinking we could take turns, but whoever goes first is up to you,” he replied, mirroring her position.
“When do you get off shift?”
“Bout an hour.”
“I’ll meet you in the car.”

Catherine rolled off Nick with a laugh. She propped herself up on her elbow and grinned at him, “Well, you were right.”
“Was I?” he smirked.
“Uh-huh,” she murmured, before leaning in and kissing him again, “This was fun.”
“I agree,” he replied, “But can you untie me now?”
She shook her head slowly, “Nope.”
“Cath—”
“You’re cute when you’re tied up.”
“C’mon—it’s better when I have my hands free. Please?”
She pouted slightly, before responding, “Do I have to?”
“Cath, I think I’m losing feeling in my wrists.”
“Fine,” she sighed, before straddling him again and reaching for the handcuffs. Once he was free, he got the cuffs out of her hands and flipped her onto her back, kissing her neck lightly. She closed her eyes and smiled.
“You’re right—I think this is better,” she grinned, and then she heard the cold click! of the metal encircling her wrists. Her eyes flew open and she frowned, “Nicky—what are you doing?”
He looked up at her and gave her a smirk. “Your turn.”
