now that i have my pics back...
Look at your LJ userpics list. If you have fewer than 50 icons, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five icons, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five icons, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly why you have it, why it's interesting to you, what significance does it have.
let it be noted, however, that when i do this, i cheat. i went into my icon folder on my computer and counted instead of my actual userpics list. because it's more fun that way.

rumor_of_war) originally snagged to use for an icon on my eric/angie fics, but was replaced when i made one of my own. i still kept it though. it's a pretty icon.
(made by lnhall_shuri) snagged this one just because it was pretty, along with a bunch of other pretty ones that lauren had made. there were quite a few pretty boys in that batch that day. i also have a wallpaper that matches this icon, so having the icon made me happy.
(made by me) flack/calleigh! my crossover pairing that i've grown to love in so many ways (and is totally 1csimfan's fault). i wasn't so thrilled with the way the first icon i made of them came out, but i loved the way this one worked.
