Sam/Jess - Human Pillow
Yes, this is over the wordcount by sixteen words. No, I'm not going to edit it down, when it's all that's seem to come to me for this challenge, and its not even the guy I thought would be easy.
Fandom: Supernatural
Title: Human Pillow
Author:
iluvroadrunner6
Rating: FRC/G
Characters: Sam Winchester, Kelly the roommate, implied Sam/Jessica Moore
spn_het_love Challenge: These are a few of my Favorite Things
Content Warning: N/A
Summary: Sam drags Jess's roommate outside during a fire drill, and she comments on what she likes best about him.
Author's Note: Inspired by a late night fire drill of my own last night. I knew what I liked about Sam--I just didn't know how to phrase it exactly. Despite the fact that it went off twice (at two thirty in the morning), it really did help my muse.
Disclaimer: I don't own the characters of Supernatural. They're owned by the CW. However, any and all original characters are mine, so please don't use them without my permission.
“Kelly—Kelly get up—” The voice was strange yet familiar, yet very distinctly male that she shot up like a bolt. She was half asleep but still managed to make him out over that atrocious beeping sound. The only thing she did actually know, was that she was in her dorm—and there shouldn’t be very distinctly male voices in her dorm.
“Who are you? What are you doing here?”
“Kells, it’s Sam.”
She squinted at the sea of white in front of her as his arm reached out and started to pull her off the bed, “Sam?” Her feet hit the floor, and she looked up, still a bit out of it. “When did you get so tall?”
She heard him laugh slightly, and he continued to pull on her. “C’mon we gotta go.”
“Why?”
“The fire alarm went off?” he smirked, giving her a look.
“Oh—‘s that what that is?” she yawned before stretching, slipping on her flip flops and stumbling out into the cool night air outside the dorm. Once she was outside, it hit her, “Where’s Jess?”
“I dunno,” he shrugged, “I woke up and she was gone.”
“Oh,” Kelly yawned before turning to look at him, “Do you think she would object if I used you as a pillow?”
“A pillow?” he smirked.
“I don’t know if she’s told you this, Sam,” she sighed, running a hand through her messy hair, “But you’re kind of—snuggly.”
“Snuggly?”
“Yes.”
He glanced around for a minute, as though he was looking for Jess, and when he didn’t find her, he held out his arms to her, “Knock yourself out.”
Kelly gave him a sleepy smile before wrapping her arms around his torso, and resting her head against his stomach—damn, he’s tall. She then looked up at him, “Let me know if I’m touching any socially unacceptable places.”
“You got it.”
