bad news:

i am now laptop-less for three-four days from monday because apparently i have a virus or spyware of some sort.

i am not confined to the writing lab hours for working on anything.

it cost me over a hundred bucks to get this fixed.



good news:

i get to play on the pretty macs in the computer lab.

computer lab has instant messenger. (which means riley and layla should be able to attend the halloween bash. at least for a little while.)

they may be able to save my hard drive.


however, still not amused.

Hope they can save your hard drive. Mine died completely (and expensively)about a month ago. No computer access at all for over a week and minor panic attacks about all the half-finished fic and uni work that wasn't backed up. Thankfully, they were able to transfer the memory to the shiny new hard drive.

Silver lining and all that ... I still wouldn't be amused either.

i really hope they can save my hard drive. i had a really nice four-something page thing on there that i don't think i have entirely backed up anywhere else.

and i hate being laptop-less. i'm so restricted on when i can do things. it sucks.

Glad Riley and Layla will still be abel to come! Drama! Do you know around what time you'll be there because I probably won't be there too long either. Brian was almost going to back to one of his other ideas, but now luckily he doesn't have to:)

it depends on how much work i can get done for school before i can't avoid signing on any longer. i want to be able to sign on on computer they have set up in my dorm (it's not ideal, but it'll do) however, i need to finish a paper. i want to hope, if i make it to where i need to be on time, that i'll be on by five at least, but i can't really make any promises.

i'll be on before it gets to be too late though.

Dude. Macs equal love. I have a PC and everytime I see those commercials on tv with the people being "Hi, I'm a Mac and this is PC" I want to cry.

i have a pc too. although as i'm using them, it's confusing me greatly. none of the shortcut keys work, and it's very frustrating.
