Drabbles!
Remember that meme, that said you had to write a drabble for the person? Finished! (Finally.) Anyway, each one decided to have their own commentary added on, and I did my best to stick to the word count, but sometimes they just wouldn’t let me.

“This is boring,” Eva sighed as she and Chelsea watched their detectives watch football.
Chelsea shook her head. She glanced over at the boys, and when they didn’t even blink, she turned back to Eva and gave her a wink. “They’re no good for anything when they’re like this.”
Eva grinned, before sighing, “Times like this when girls gotta take care of themselves.”
“You know, it’s been a while since we’ve fooled around.”
“Mmm—it’d definitely be more fun than this.” When they still hadn’t moved, Eva took Chelsea’s hand, “Let’s go somewhere comfortable.”
“I like the way you think.”
I think Connie should meet drunk!Cora sometime soon. I think that would be an interesting experience, but that’s just me.
Caroline and Connie forpolkadotsnplaid:
Connie had heard rumors, but she never actually believed them. She didn’t believe it was possible. This woman was just—well, getting drunk usually intensified a person’s uglier qualities. Connie only assumed that alcohol would only amplify the cattiness, bitchiness, and all-around not-niceness that came with being Caroline Parker.
She’d probably never admit it to anyone. It was also something she might never see again, considering that Caroline wasn’t a woman she went drinking with, and tended to avoid like the plague. But she couldn’t deny the truth:
But a few martinis in, Caroline Parker was actually a nice person.
I don’t know where this came from, but that line, for me, seems like the Grissom/Catherine line, so—yeah. I just kinda went with it. I hope you like it!
Catherine/Grissom forsomehearts_x3:
I missed your tush.
That line made her laugh, but at the same time, it made her sad. She knew Grissom better than anyone, which is why she knew that line was meant as a joke, and a joke between friends, not a joke between two people who had more. She felt like she was a teenager when it came to him, the girl best friend that the boy didn’t know existed. Hell, most of the men in her life now made her feel that way, but there wasn’t much she could do about it.
It sucked, plain and simple.
I picked Danny instead of Riley, because, frankly, Danny’s a lot more fun, and I think you should have a foreshadowing of just how annoying Danny plans to be.

“Hey, Seattle—”
“It’s Val.”
“Right—Autopsy reports are back on our vic.” He tossed the file down on her desk. Silence lasped between them again as she read the report over, and she raised an eyebrow after a minute, before shutting the file and looking up at him.
“Anything interesting, Seattle?” he smirked.
“How many times do I have to tell you, Messer? Lanier or Val.”
“Uh-huh.”
“I’m not even from Seattle.”
“You said you were from somewhere near Seattle. I’m rounding up.”
Val rolled her eyes, “I am so glad I’m don’t always have to be your partner.”
Now, I know what was asked for was Sofia/Dean, but I, apparently, can’t read and thought it was Sofia/Danny. If you still want the Sofia/Dean one, let me know, but otherwise—I figured I’d post Flack getting on Danny’s case about Sofia for you anyway.
Sofia/Danny fordarkmagic_luvr:
“She not talking to you again?”
Danny glared in Flack’s direction again, before looking back down. “Don’t wanna talk about it.”
“You know, if you’re ever going to make this work, you might want to find a way to not piss her off every other day.”
“I don’t want to talk about it, Flack.”
“Just offering some advice.”
“Didn’t Calleigh ignore your calls for a while?”
“Completely different situation. Besides, Calleigh likes me most of the time. Usually, she doesn’t want to beat me with a stick.”
Danny just glared at him.
Flack smirked, “I think I’ve made my point.”
This one was determined to be more than 100 words, and there was nothing I could do about it. Also, it’s not around a campfire, and doesn’t involve Kate and Sayid talking so much as Sawyer and Sayid plotting to free Kate from the feds. If that’s not acceptable, I can give the campfire another shot, but Sayid was sitting there going, “Campfire? I’ve had enough of campfires. This is so much better.” Except in a more Sayid-like way.
Kate and Sayid fordefy_n_gravity:
“We’re not gonna let the Feds take Freckles, are we?”
“What can we do? We’re back in the real world, now. The rules are not the same.”
“Now, see, that’s the kinda half-assed response I expected out of the Doc, not you.”
“Do you even have a plan, Sawyer?” Sayid knew it was going to piss Sawyer off, but what else could he say? Freeing Kate needed to be more subtle than running at the Others, guns blazing.
“All I know is that she saved my life more times than I can count. You know if that if it was you, she’d be there in a heartbeat. So are you with me or not?”
Sayid looked at him, and saw the determination in his eye before sighing, “Yes, Sawyer. I’m with you.”
